Getting ready to do my morning tasks! Overtasked sounds like fun, I need to try that. We're a bit warmer here, I'll be pushing that warm air in your direction.

Thanks - wouldn't mind the warm air in my cubbyhole, but outside is really beautiful! (Ok, as long as I'm bundled up, or in my toasty little car that is.) Sun's out, but it's cold and snow is still thick everywhere. Very sparkly, and I LOOOVE sparkly. For all my griping, I really DO love winter much more than summer...you can always put more clothes on in winter; summer...well...often you can't take anything else off without getting arrested...ya know???

Winters are great as long as it's colder than -20! That's when I really feel alive. As far as the dress code we need to revamp some laws!

I wish!! Certain economic predictors indicate MOTD will not be in this years forcast! I'll expect to see a full report from everyone attending.

yeah I questioned hubby too, thinking what is that going to go if someone came in!
He said "don't you think they won't turn and run if lights started to go on in hte house"... hum gotta admit - makes sense.
So there are motion sensor all over the house. I'm not sure how they re set up, but he controls them all by the computer and also has the ligths come on at a certain time and turns off at a certain time. We also have the same with motion cameras, say pointing at our hottub, or back yard.

Then if that isn't enough the entire house is set up on a remote control to "override" the normal settings, so we can turn every light on in hte house should we need to...

sorry this this turning out to be long but, funny story... about 3 am we were fast asleep and i heard a mans voice in the family room down stairs, i freaked out and kept nudging the hubby wispering get up, get up... bearly eyes open, he reaches over to the night stand, (where did he get a gun) .
He pulls out the remote and turns on every light in the house, it looked like a landing strip! I yelled why did you do that? he said do you think they are gone now??? hum

turned out it was an electronic game that was in sleep mode puppy kicked it!

but this seems to be the best without annoying us or our neighbors, as a matter of fact no one know we have it except for the warning sticker on the windows. oh and I think it also call his cell phone in emergencies not positive on that one though... for fire and such...
Calling a cell phone would be PERFECT because that would wake up me and hubby both! Could you find out for me if it does that and DM me with some info on the product you used?

Hi all i'm back, sorry long day get some stuff in order.

Random, my husband is the gadgets guy, but i think most of the sysetem he uses he bought all the "pieces" online and wired the house to fit. I'm really not sure on the logistics of the whole thing. but the internet company name is 10X somehting something... but google that and you should come up with their systems. Hope it helps.

Hey Sika, push some warm weather up here too please... last night coming home it said 7 degress in Nugget...

I'm still sick but have appointments to go to and so can't stay home and baby myself like i want to. Going out with my girlfriend was a mistake, lost my voice on and off today and cough is not helping the throat. Public people are loving me right now...
X- i disagree with you on the taking clothes off, no wait that came out wrong... I love summer time, i hate being cold. once i'm cold it doesn't matter how many layers i'm wearing i'm still cold...

Hey, guys, guess what!? My next door neighbor built a little MINI garage for my snow MINI!!! (Same guy that caught me in the un-pretty pose.) My husband actually thought I came home from work, made it, and then went out again.

Hi all!

UhOh- thought that snow MINI was the coolest... and now you have a garage too? Girl, you are spoiled! Glad to see it's still cold enough to keep your MINI intact. (Unless you're hoping it was warmer.)

Looks like you guys have slowed quite a bit... like someone has to get out the paddles and yell "CLEAR!!!". Cab must still be with "Son of Cab"... wonder if she's let him take Sloopy for a spin yet.

Looks like Skillet doesn't come here anymore either. I guess I have given up too.

Saw that ElProfe had posted a REAL Free Classic Mini he'd seen on another forum. It was the shell only (I think) and it was ROUGH!

Anyway, I've tried not to get on here too much lately just because I'm not really getting anything else accomplished. I miss hanging out and talking... and although I'm good at multi-tasking... this and everything else doesn't seem to work well.

I hope that other than unemployment, cold cooties and "Mega-Storms"... everyone is doing ok.

Good night/ Good Morning

**BTW- When I lived in the hood- my crackhead neighbors would empty their cat litter boxes on MY side of the fence! I remember the first time I saw an arm and a full litter pan's contents dumping over the corner. Problem was, (not just that it was gross)... but before I realized it, my dog knew it was there and she was cleaning out the clumps. (GROSS) It was making her sick too. Bleh!

Eeeeeeyyyyeewwwwwww!!!!! (But I can sympathize - this is why there's a gate between the dogs and the "kitty area.") WHY would your neighbor DO that!?!?! Darn crackheads.

Um...I'm a powerpoint "Ranger" if you need help. (Just don't tell too many people; it's a dangerous secret to be that qualified around here - *work* here.)

It snowed today.

Damn... I might have to take the MINI out for one final run in her snow shoes before they have to come off in April....

So sad...

So horrifying...
