all this talk about horses, I am reminiscing when i was younger, my girlf friend and i would take her 2 hourses out in the afternoon after work, and i loved horse back riding. I'm not good by any means at riding but when ever had the chance i would. One time in Texas, i was riding on the beach, what a great memeory. Thanks guys!

OOOoooooooOOOOOOOoooooo. You're at post #9 and you're already offering up hot chocolate? YUM-MEE! I actually like peppermint schnapps in mine... like a peppermint mocha. Hell... throw in the Kahlua AND the PS! RG did you find it yet??

Gem- My FAVORITE chocolate to eat IS Hershey's. I'm kind of old school though and like the original kisses. I like the Hershey Bar that can be broken into little squares and also the Bar with Almonds. I also LOVE the little candy coated Hershey eggs they have at Easter.

cabwy- I can't believe your training got changed. You're going to miss the orange blossoms. As for staying with Sandy Apple... I'm sure she wouldn't mind.

TNMMAMA-Glad you like my stories. I was going to say that I have never driven with the top down in the snow but I would be lying. It was barely spitting snow on Grandfather Mountain in October but it was f'ing cold at 31F! Today I was taking a quick drive to Target. The temp was 51 but I wasn't wearing the proper clothing. I had 84 on the floor but I didn't want to put up the windows. I was tough and just kept saying, "I'm almost there... I'm almost there.". As for driving in the rain... I remember the charts for what speeds to drive to avoid pigeon poop and rain and other things but I never got to the right speed I guess. (Hard to believe that I wouldn't have done that!) Just read on another thread that your A-pillars come off if you reach a certain speed... and that hasn't happened either.

As I was reading all of your stories about horses I realized that I've never ridden one. When I was a kid, our neighbor took lessons, but we didn't have the money to do it. Maybe one day.

Alrighty then... I'm going to head off to bed. Where's xuhohx? Is she hiding behind couches again?

BTW- lil beastie- keep warm up there! I know you're colder than me. Funny, I keep hearing my house cracking! Temp says 39 on TV weather right now. Maybe I'll just tak a quick little spin in my MINI thermometer to check.

Nothing wrong with starting a Friday off with hot chocolate...and if there's anything else in there, who's to know?? Nothing wrong with adding a little Bailey's, or whatever flavoring you prefer--Kahlua, peppermint schnapp's, shave a little chocolate off a hershey's bar for the topping on the whipped cream...that sounds so good. All I need now is a fireplace with a roaring fire & I'd be set.

All this talk about topless driving reminded me about something I read a few years back... I believe this took place in Alaska. There was a MINI caravan driving through the snowy ice roads in Alaska, in the caravan a guy had one of the first convertibles. He was driving with the top down in the frigid cold. Well he hit a patch of ice and rolled the car. No one was hurt but the MINI did get banged up. If I remember right the car ended up on its side. One of the side windows got busted out and when they up-righted the car the other one went. I remember the guy saying that it was a lot colder in the car with the side windows gone and the top up than it was with the windows up and the top down.

Of course I did! They're flannel!! I imagine getting pulled over and getting a ticket for wearing them out in public!

I see that you've made good use of the "cup diver". That was another one of those that I was "waiting" for the right time to use. But I must say... I really enjoy you guys using them!

I have a problem with not being able to sleep at night... but when the temp is low (and now with what this '08MCSC has)... that feature of the 37F DING really cracks me up! Shocking to see 27F though. I actually considered (just for a moment... but a moment nonetheless) about putting the top down. But THAT with the PJ's??? OMG! Surely there would be an arrest made.

LilBeastie- I'm glad I was awake for your beautiful hot chocolate. (xoxox)

sikamini- Yep! Thawing out! You SHOULD go for that ride today!

MINI-IZED- Saw that video/story and pics. CRAZY!

Big Norm- Glad to see you are back. Some of us were thinking that you didn't like us anymore. (Ok... just me) Anyway, why are you "stuck" here? Where would you go if you could go somewhere else?

Gem- Have fun eating Italian food tonight... I'll be waiting on pins and needles to see if you also hear the "rumble from the rear".

So does this mean we are being "monitored"?

YOU may not be, but I probably am. But if this isn't the least of my offenses, so be it. I'm a trouble maker - the one who tries to apply common sense (which isn't always authorized.) SO ya know...compared to what others are doing, NAM is fairly harmless. Addictive, but harmless.
