Has Anyone Put a Automatic Honda motor in a mini

im curious to see if anyone has put an automatic honda/integra motor in a mini with the minitech subframe.......i contacted BJ and he said he doesn't know, i have a full B18A1 Set up but it's an Automatic........let me know what you think?

why put a automatic in a mini??? manual is so much fun, especially if you are going to such massive power into one.

because the whole motor and trans was free......but i passed it up anyways

I'll admit I'm limited in technical ability, but I can't see why it would be a problem. It might be a plus to keep both hands on the wheel to control the massive torque steer...

Mini tec has never put an auto in, and they dont know if it will fit in their subframe........they really couldn't give me any anwsers since they have never looked into doing an automatic

the transmission mount could be different

they said something about the dimenssions being differant
