you need to get competitive quotes, that's a ridiculous price.

I asked that question a few weeks ago.

Although the clearbra film appears to be clear, it's technically only 99.8 percent (or something like that) clear. The little distortion is enough to make it impractical for windshields (and probably illegal in some states).

That's also why it's not wise to use it on Chrome. It distorts the chrome enough to make it not look shiny. So why have chrome if it's not shiny ? That would be kind of like kissing your sister.
