Saw 2 CR/W MCS one heading east on I88 just East of the york toll plaza and the other one heading west on I-88 near 355, 1:30ish.

 

Yesterday afternoon 5 MINIs and one Mini out in Rockton

 

CR/W MCS with white bonnet stripes parked in the parking lot of Home Depot in Woodridge...around...11:30am. It was parked way in the back so it might have belonged to someone who works there. Or someone who really wants to make sure there Mini is safe and sound!

PS 2030 Prarie Grove on 176

EB/W 2050 Crystal Lake on Rt.14 (think I saw you in the Village Square parking lot, then you were behind me) Thanks for the wave

 

Oh my Gosh. I have finally been spotted. That was me at the Squire. When I pulled out of the lot I saw the MINI ahead of me so I sped up. You then turned left so I stuck my arm out for the wave as I passed. I wasn't sure if you saw me. Now I know.

 

I gave you a wave out the sunroof but I think it was as you were passing me. I usually see a few MINI's around Crystal Lake, we need to get them on NAM so you can be spotted mroe often

 

OK, lets see if I can remember around 1ish.

a blue MCSC at the intersection of Douglas and 34. Waved and got a wave back.

Then while in line at portillos (same intersection) a DS MCSC with black bonnet stripes pulled up. Also got a wave.

This within 5 minutes of each other.

 

IB/W MCS 17:04 Crystal Lake on 31 just north of 14

 

LY/W on Berkshire in Crystal Lake today. Got a real nice wave.

 

i spotted 2 MCS's in Barrington this morning, but neither waved so they
are non- NAM enthusiasts. was a DG/B and a B/B boo~!

 

• IB/W MCS 176 in Island Lake
• PW/B you were going north on 53 #1 lane, in Palatine
• PS/B 34 in Woodridge
• CR MCSc (no front plate) in a parking lot in La Grange
• CR/W MC-halfway between hinsdale and LaGrange in a residential neighborhood north of 55th street but south of the RR tracks.
• BRG/W MC on 55th I gave you a wave as you turned off
• HB Cabrio of of 55th, Thanks for the wave
• LY/B MC in a (taco bell, KFC or Dunkin dounuts I can't remember which)parking lot in Lisle near but not off of 53 (possibly on 55th still)
• PS/B MC Rt 53 in Bolling Brook a few times
• Got a wave and a flash from a PS/B in the Bollingbrook/Romeoville area on whatever road is one exit east of the 355/ 55 interection, but significantly (one or two towns) south of 55.

 

I saw a LY/B MCS in McHenry the other day, it was night already so no waves

 

IB/ MCS, pulling in to Bill Jacobs as I was pulling out today around 11ish, got a wave too

Yesterday, during the afternoon rush:
DS/W- You were exiting 53 at lake cook talking on a cell phone so no wave while you mereged
PW/Checker in Glyen Ellen, a resdidental neighborhood
BRG/W MC I was a few cars in front of you and waved, saw you wave back; but I can't remember where this took place.

 

My god man! Do you keep a log book of sightings or do you just have a good memory

 

That's all memory, I keep telling myself I ought to keep a log so I can make sure I get the right times.

Anyone here from rockford, IL? i keep seeing a BRG/B MCS with a checkered roof at a Midas here in town, sweet car!!

 

I am not from Rockford but I am there frequently for business. Often two or three times a week. Whenever I go there with my MINI, it is a definite rarity there. Of all the times I have been there I have only seen one other MINI and it had a checkered roof. But I think it was black. I could be wrong, it was a long time ago.
