thanks for the offer. already kicking around ideas for a future drive... probably in the Lake County area. I'll pm you

As far as the current route, I have no clue. Wasn't a party to the planning. Snake Rd in Lake Geneva is fun. cruising around the Lake itself is fun as well. I've taken the backroads from Lake Geneva to Burlington and back.. that's fun as well.

I hope to see your next MINI.

I have a route mapped out, not yet tested, based on info from past drives and many others for fun roads. In general we do not post or send out the route before the drive. With the weather I may not test this route till just days before the event to make sure road conditions are safe.

I'll be sliding around enough on my skinny bicycle tires. Precipitation might be a bit much

Any idea how long the whole trip should take? Dave and I are in if it's not more than a few hours. If we're gone longer than that, we'll come home to a wonderfull poopy puppy and crate I'd love to take her with, but I'd worry about leaving her in the car during lunch. Soon enough... isn't potty training great?

We meet at 9am, then drive the 1st leg about an hour. Rest stop then 2nd leg about an hour. I hope to have us at lunch by 1230-1pm. You may want to drive the whole event with the dog, other have, but not stay for lunch. Or drive 1st leg and be home by 1130ish. Hope that helps.

From the Madison WI contingent - Thanks for putting together such a great event. It was amazing to see so many MINIs cruising through southern WI and rasing money for the MMAC fundraiser. Was there any tables at Houlihan's which were not occupied by our group? Looking forward to joining up with you for future events.

I think the whole area we were sitting in was occupied by MINI friends

Unfortunately I didn't get many pictures inside because I was running around selling raffle tickets but it's all good because were able to raise a lot of money

here's a link to my picks on flickr: http://flickr.com/photos/96311057@N0...7604081287182/

yes.. I was "that guy" taking pics at the first rest stop in Burlington Thanks for coming out! did anyone get any pics of the cars driving on the frozen lake??

Thanks again to all who organized this drive.

For our first CMMC drive, it was a great time! Looking forward to many more drives in the future.

Thought I'd share two of my favorite pics from the day. Enjoy!

Thanx for putting this drive together. Great way to bring about the end of winter , all though it still snowed a bit towards the end.
