Pictures of Mini Cooper Classic

My wife would like to see some pictures of the classic, inside and outside to see what the actual visual difference there is between the classic and the Mini Cooper.

Im on NAM often and she see`s pictures of all kinds of Mini`s but asked to see one of a Mini Cooper Classic. So if there is anyone that has pictures please dont hesitate to post them up!

AND... I know what some of you are saying to yourselves just go to the dealer and take a look, and you are right but we just dont have matching schedules and when we do, we have the kids with us. We would prefer to have no kids with us so we can appreciate the WHOLE Mini experience and come to a logical decission.

So for all you that have pictures of their Mini Cooper Classic, POST THEM UP!

Thanks.

Kirk.

Are you talking about a "current" MINI Cooper Classic (ie 2008 model year) or an old Classic Mini?

IIRC, a Cooper Classic is the same inside as a regular Cooper. The Classic is essentially a Cooper with a few less "standard" options (such as Xenons) and a limited palette of colours and other available options. Check out the configurator on MINI.ca to see what you get.

Been there, Done that!

I had called last Friday a MA and left a message for her to call me back, I had wanted to test drive one today (Friday) but she never got back to me. Geeze I guess they have customers coming out of thier ears and dont care about people who email them or call them.

I got mad and decided NOT to go today, perhaps another day when I cool down.

its a $2000 difference between the Classic and the Cooper.
Have a short chat over the Phone with your nearest Dealership, cheak out a brochure
make a list of the things you get for that $2000
For me the $2000 was well worth it.

as were the Convienience, Comfort and Media Packages once i saw them in person. None of which could have been had on the Classic version.

But looking back on it now, i spent almost $5000 more then i had originally planned on my FIRST CAR. prety silly.

Well the pricing of the Mini Cooper Classic is the one that interests me the most, and its the one that fits in my budget with alot of squeezing!

Well by now you may already have your mini. But if still looking for Classic photos, have a peek in my gallery at the Pepper White one to get an idea. (But do keep in mind i put the 17" S-lite wheels on it from the previous R53 model, and I ran the R56 JCW suspension so it sat just a tad lower... and handled fantastically.) No interior pics there but if you want more just send me a PM and I can send some from when i first took delivery of it.

Also, if the Classic is "just inside your budget", go for it and don't look back. But if you are just being frugal for principle's sake and can actually fit the regular Cooper in your budget (without stretching) then I would recommend the Cooper for one reason in particular - sport button to tighten up the steering but especially the otherwise-languid R56 throttle response. But languid throttle response or no, even a Cooper Classic is a much more engaging car than most of the low-$20's (CDN) competition, making it a helluva value versus the japanese econoboxes.
