Whats up everyone! Ok well I'm wondering how many people would want to set up a get together in or around Montreal? maybe in Laval?? I could possibly have a venue but we can figure that out depending on how many people want to come. I was thinking we could meet up, hang out for a while, then after that cruise somewhere and grab some food.

Wished I could be there. It's been a few years since I've been to Montreal.

 

For sure I would also be interested, but a bit harder for me to get organized since i'm in the military. So i'll wait and see what date comes up, and try real hard to be there. I'm a good 4-5 hours from MTL, but that doesn't bother me much.

I should take delivery of my Mini in 2-3 weeks max also at Brossard Mini.

 

What about something like "Mini club du Québec", since there is people a bit from everywhere in QC. I'd be willing to start a kinda website also, with our own forum, www.Miniclubquebec.ca

In my case, I wont drive down to MTL before I pick up my car in 2 or 3 weeks, but i'll try my best to make the other meet and eat afterward.

Yup, Brossard Mini told me that my car is somewhere in the Atlantic on the ship. So I think 2-3 weeks sounds reasonable before I pick it up.

(hint) (hint) Non sérieusement si qqun a deux Slites à vendre dites moi le j'ai mes deux roues arrières qui sont bossées et je n'ose pas trop rouler faut que je regonfle a toutes les fois que je roule un peu ou que je pogne une bosse. I was saying that I will bring my camera to the meet so we have some stuff to show To give you an idea I made many photos that were published in car magazines

Also, about the idea of starting a Club Mini Montreal or something like that .. I have a good experience with large forums and I'm doing web hosting (www.QuebecPhotos.ca is my baby, I started it in 2004)

NiKTaMeR said he is looking for a pair of S-Lite wheels because his wheels are bent and he needs to put air in the tires really often... but he's in ;-)

For a place in Laval, maybe we can meet in the parking of the Colossus cinema. The problem is that the parking is BIG.. There is a spot that is not really used in that parking, really close to the cosmodome, on the border of the 15. It's easy to spot, there is a big rocket on the corner (in the cosmodome parking) - See: http://www2.tripoli-quebec.org:8081/...ure/cosmo3.jpg

Maybe then we can go take some pictures.. There is a multi-level parking at the Carrefour Laval (2 minutes from the Colossus parking) that is really interesting for an "underground" style.

To eat there is many places around on St-Martin!

I'll get some people with MINIs on Monchar.com and MontrealRacing.com once the date/time/place is fixed

It will be a good occasion to discuss about a "Club Mini Montreal", what do you think?

For me, no problems! I'm on call at work but as long as I have the blackberry on me and the laptop not too far I can go EVERYWHERE
