We took advantage of the warmer weather today to give Nicodemus a well deserved scrubbing. The road upon which we commute daily has been under construction for the past few years, and apparently they're in the 'tar stage.' It turned out that the brownish stuff all over the car wasn't dirt, but a general coating of road tar/grease, and boy is that stuff hard to wash! We did discover a product that works really well for removing it though - called something like Tar and Bug Remover by Turtle Wax. Anyway, we scrubbed him up, and finally got his name affixed to his rear end. If the weather is decent tomorrow, we'll be adding his Phat bonnet stripes.
Badge Letters

While I'm posting pictures, I figured I'd go ahead and show off Mark's handiwork on the mud flaps. We didn't even have to take the back tires off to attach them. They work pretty well in that the boot doesn't get dirty as quickly, but all in all, they work best at keeping the front tires from throwing rocks up the side of the car.

Actual Size, courtesy of the door prize from the meeting.

And finally, since we don't have a garage, we decided to go ahead and buy one of those metal carports to protect Nicodemus and Deimos (when he arrives) from some of the elements. So here's Nic in his new home.

I believe you can get both the Actual Size sticker and the letters from Cooper Sport. You can order the letters though a bit cheaper by getting them directly from Badge Your Ride.
I put my letters on last week, and don't know why, but I put them on about 1/2 inch apart which looks fine, but then I looked at Cooper on the back and realized I should have put them right next to each other like you did. Does anybody know if they would restick if I took them off.. or even if I can take them off without screwing up the paint??
I have mine on the side to the right of the trim around the front wheel. But now that I see yours, I think that reflection on the bumper looks awesome and a great choice for location!
Hmm, then again, I'm planning on getting a bumper protector, so I guess I have to do one or the other.. that is even if I have the choice of moving the letters.

I'd e-mail coopersport or badgeyourride and ask about removing and re-sticking. If you use heat to remove them, it should...in theory...make the glue sticky again. You'll definitely want a second opinion on that though.
Mark put his letters up where the Roadshow emblem usually goes (he managed to get his without the emblem attached). Funny story: we took Deimos over to the insurance place to have him added. The agent went out and took a look around the car, and when he returned and started working on his computer to find the model and such, he kept mumbling something. Mark realized later, after the agent asked us a few odd questions about the model, that he thought it was some kind of "Deimos" edition of the MINI! I guess that just goes to show how official these chrome letters look!
I'm going to remove my Roadshow emblem and am trying to figure out what to put there. I'm thinking of another set of letters saying either 1:1 or Wicked. I wish I could find letters like that in black

That's too funny, and in evitable somebody would do that!! My father saw mine and said.. did you put those there, cuz I've not heard of the Toro Mini
He kind of knew but wasn't sure!
I managed to get away without the Roadshow emblem also, and I'm glad.
I have a heat gun, but I'm a chicken, I'd screw up the paint. I'll just leave them as is at least until a pro could give me an opinion.
