Any tidbits you can throw out on what you're bringing to Las Vegas this year? I'm interested in one of the caliper kits, or possibly an 11.75" kit if the price is irresistable. Thx.

Right now I really don't know. I'm very conscience of the obvious economic conditions facing all of us at AMVIV and despite a good drop in price there I'm not sure that the market is as strong as it has been in the past.

I think I'll focus a bit more on the lower end of the price scale this year and that could well include the DP6 offerings. Although it has not really taken off as a strong option either. You can count on the usual assortment of customs and one-offs that unique to AMVIV and also help me clear the shelves a bit.

I might also bring some replacement pads and rotors this year for the track guys who are prone to damaging things....And as always product will be put up for sale "first come, first served, cash only".

I'm working on a list of things right now in fact...

So far it looks like I'll be showing up with about a dozen complete kits. Split about 5/50 between smaller, lower cost kits as well as larger kits.

Included will be some variations on the theme as always; caliper models, colors, finishes, street, race...as well as some complimenting rear kits. All purchases will include rear ss hoses and some fluid to finalize the install. And all at the Nice Price.

Doubt I'll actually set up shop that afternoon but rather early on Thursday. Four hours on Wed....not sure it's worth the time to do so.

 

WOW! Man do I have the line up of kits to take up there! I've got about a dozen offerings coming along from low budget kits to a full four wheel offering that's always a hit.

I just finished up a powder coat finish on a 'one off' that looks very cool. Mineral Bronze finish on an FSL caliper for a stealthy look that goes well with nearly every car color. What's Mineral Bronze? It's that color you see often on wheels that just screams 'race car'. I'm assembling the usual mass of kits from base Wilwood factory kits, to customs to my conventional 13" kit offerings. With and without the trimmings....

Things being 'tight' this year I've looked to keep the costs to the lower end and still provide plenty of value for your buying pleasure. Buying pleasure? Did I just call it that? Uggh. Anyhow...All kits sold will include some Wilwood 570 fluid and both front AND rear stainless steel hoses this year. Right off the bat you're looking at over $50 in freebies! What could be better than that? Free shipping of course! All kits being "cash and carry" there's no Brown fee.

For those wondering, you'll be able to take home a full front kit with all the extras for UNDER $600! Wow!!

Need a four wheel kit? Ok. Normally you'd invest about $2700 or more do to a 13" front kit AND a rear Wilwood p-Brake kit by the time it hits your door. But....you won't pay that in Vegas.

 

what about a local that can stop by the shop, but cant make out it to vegas, by chance I can pick up on any of these "specials"?

So the good news.....is that I have about a dozen big boxes full of kits, parts and specials ready to rock and roll out the door first thing in the morning. Putting me at the garage around 2pm ish I'd say.

The bad news....is that I won't be bringing a MINI this year. Just too much stuff to pack in there and too high a risk for damage to the car's interior and all that.
