Who's motoring the longest way? King of the Hill competition.

Who's motoring out the longest way to get to Vegas?

Since I'm the first to post here, I'm going to be "king of the hill" with 300 miles from Phx to LV. Can anyone knock me off the top of the hill with more motoring miles than that?

I'm sure this won't hold up long, but my travel distance is 1601.2 miles.

We'll see. Looking pretty good right now to hold on to that "king of the hill" crown for a little while. I must warn you, last year we had someone motor out from NY state. So who knows how long you'll be atop the mountain!

I think I can beat everyone thus far, but it won't count if I can't get the time away from work. It will be, according to MapQuest, a grand total of

2676.74 miles

which according to them translates to a little over 40 hours of driving at about 65MPH. I think I could shave about 10 hours off of that though, and make it in 2 days.

I don't win if I don't get to go though:smile:

Dang! Last year I saw a MINI with New York plates but yours'll beat even that one.

If you go, we'll have to snap a pic and post it here as proof!

About the only thing that will beat that is if someone is coming from Alaska.

It would have to be southern Mexico, where daily drivers are 4WDs or VW Things.
