I'm looking for these also, I think I read on here somewhere that they are no longer in business....I was directed to Moss Mini to find some similar units but i've was told those are and have been on "BO" for quite a while now....

If there is much interest, maybe another vendor could take over the manufacturing of these or make their own version.

I already sent the money on Paypal, so it should be sold, as we agreed.

If you have a CAI, like Alta, that has an opening to the cowl under the window, this will catch the air and aim it down in the direction of the filter. I am doing some mad science experiments where I remove the stock air source on top of the radiator, cover the opening from that source to the Alta box with a Nerf ball and only use the cowl opening as my CAI source. I will only use the left side, but if I can prove that the right side helps, I will use both.

This intakes were part of a complete CAI system that Benfer sold for a really high price. It was CF. The driver side one had a plastic tube that aimed the air to the filter box made of CF. It was nice, but expensive. It seems like Benfer does not exist any more. I will try to reproduce their set up with a few changes. It was a great idea.

Lets make this clear, this was me asking somebody to sell ME a set of these. Nobody beat anyone at anything. I asked, I was offered and I purchased. Perhaps you should post a WTB add like I did.

I will let you know how things turn out.

Can you start a thread describing what you are working on? I was wondering if a cowl-fed CAI might have better flow if the front air supply was restricted or closed. Is this what you are testing?

A couple of months back I remember seeing a set of these in carbon fiber. Might have been on one of the cars on this forum. I know I saw them, just don't remember exactly where? Does this ring a bell with anyone?

There are many types of these cowl intakes. Most are lower profile that put more priority to looks and not function. It is possible that some are CF. I am 90% sure that Benfer did not made a CF version.

Regarding project that I am working on, there are many things that I am working on at the same time. One is air flow from the cowl and the other is finding a better way to feed air to AGS that I will install in my car. Possibly implement Split Air Intake. If you do not know what is SAI, do a search under my handle or SAI. It is going to be slow. I have a job, you know...

Yes, that is what I am working on. Let me get the part, do some research and then start posting finding.
