MTH COM cable with usb adapter

selling my MTH obd3 programming cable its the com port version but I am selling it with an USB adapter so it will work with both
70 dollars incl shipping.

I wrote a comment thinking that this was in the MINI talk forum.

It was a mixup. I was apologizing for asking the mods to move it when it was in the correct place in the first place. What is this spam you speak of?

I dont even know how to respond to that. All those posts are completley realted to the topic. With the posts with numbers like 387, EVERYONE was doing it. The one about the posts, the pic somehow, it isnt there anymore. I cant ene imagine how much time you wasted trying to make fun of me! They are all on topic, and the few that dont make sense, are old, and the picture that goes with them no longer exist. And the bumping, I get PM's from them thanking me for bumping their posts. So BACK OFF (BTW, he spent 20 minutes doing all that research!)

Hmmm... I never had any luck using the com port version with a USB adapter. The signalling never quite worked. Have you tried using the MTH com cable with a USB adapter successfully to down/upload to the MINI? I'd be very suprised if it actually worked.

The USB version of the MTH cable needs a specific MTH virtual com port driver for it to work. I tried using that driver with a Keyspan USB<>COM adapter and still no luck.
