This will be my first time to go to the dragon I was just wondering who else from here is going. We're going up on Fri and staying at Snowbird Lodge.

 

I'm going. We are leaving Thursday morning & coming back Sunday. We are staying at Fontana Village

 

I wish I could be off work to go. I know everyone will have a blast.

If I can convince my wife, highly doubtful, I'll head up there this weekend with my brother and his club.

 

The Frau and I will be going as well It's our first trip too

 

My first Non 'tana motd is lined up. (Thurs-Sun) Found a nice B&B around hwy 28 towards Robbinsville. New, clean, views, and full breakfast included. Sorry won't be hanging with the cool kids, but we'll survive.

 

Coming up on Thursday, Staying thru Saturday. Microtel in Robbinsville, will be the place I rest my weary arms from those twisting curves.

Maybe that week I can slow down some. I have been hard at it for a while now.

 

You will LOVE Snowbird! My husband and I have stayed there 5 times while attending the Miatas at the Gap event in the summer. It's well worth the money, I think and the food is HEAVENLY!

I ordered my MINI as a sort of "spur of the moment" thing (even though I have been test driving and scoping them for 2 years) so we didn't have many choices. We found a cancelation at a little place in Robbinsville.

I plan on leaving around 8AM, I might be convinced to go leave my house as early as 7 but if I try to leave any earlier than that I will fall asleep while driving I will need to make 2 stops so Petey the puppy can stretch his legs & poddy. I plan to stop in Trenton, GA & again when exiting I-75 in Sweetwater, TN. Also, in spite of the fact that I have to delay with the extra stops, I tend to wanna truck on down the highway at a healthy speed . I am game to ride up with anyone but as I said I understand if people don't wanna make the extra stops

Then why don't we make it around 8:45 am at the 1st exit off I-59 past I-459 interchange? There is a Pizza Hut right off on the right. That way the ones of us who get there on time can go next door to the BP station and get a snack while we wait on bamatt.

 

MINIclo and I will be heading up very early Wednesday morning with Yucca Patrol. If he leaves Tuesday night, We'll be passing through Birmingham about 6/7 AM Wednesday anyway. Staying at Fontana in the "Off Topic" cabin.

Oh, sorry. Yes, I whipped it up the other night trying to come up with a new signature. But they can't be animated anymore so I'm glad the moving gif file got to show its face (thanks for askin').

I wouldn't consider it print quality, but I'd be happy to print you a copy.
