Let's get together & usher in the hopefully warmer weather & longer days on Sunday, March 25th at 2PM. We will start at Tom Williams BMW & ride down Grants Mill Road over to the Hwy 25 twisties to Vandiver & then turn around & come back Hwy 41 across Hugh Daniels Drive & end up at Bruster's Ice Cream on Hwy 280 (unfortunately they seemed to have closed Cold Stone Creamery, our regular ice creamery).

Florida Vs Auburn Baseball that day . All work no play makes for a sad Mini. Well maybe that weekend it will be sunny and I can take Coop to Auburn for the whole weekend.

Something you all ought to look into is joining the Heart of Dixie BMW CCA they have lots of runs and events. I went with them a couple of weeks ago great fun. That run there were 3 MINI's.

 

I'll have to look into it. Maybe they'll have a few Saturday runs. I still haven't had my first auto outting Looks like my first will be the St Pat's parade, not many twist and turns there though. Maybe the BAMA powers that be will grant me a Saturday run someday

 

We will do some Saturday runs this summer Parish I am sure. We hit Hwy 25 a lot & if anybody has any twistie road suggestions I am always good to go

Last year at our 1st March run I invited the vette club to join us. They are a nice & fun group & I had thought about inviting them again this time. The 3 of us Minis that showed up last March were out numbered 3 to 1 so I wonder if I oughta convince the vette club to have a ride & invite us I think that was Louispup's 1st ride so should we celebrate his anniversary

Hopefully the weather will be nice & we will have a better turn out this March

 

Was that a March ride? Sweet of you to remember. Celebrated one year with way too many miles ten days ago, and I'd been motoring not too long before that meet up (which I believe had been postponed). Pretty day, nice folks.

 

I think it was scheduled for the last weekend in March but it rained so we changed it to an April fools ride the next weekend or something like that but what do I know I can't really even remember yesterday, today is Tuesday right?

 

Things are looking up for the me to make the ride on the 25th. I'll bring my sidekick/daughter Hayley. This will be the first Mini ride for the both of us. I am SO determined to make this one. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the weather will be kind, the good kind.
