Fall colors at the Dragon
We putting together a run to the hills of Tennesse, on Oct. 23 we are going to make a run up to the Dragon to run the road and hopefuly see the changing color of the leaves. If you are not sure what the Dragon is please go to www.tailofthedragon.com to read more about this fun stretch of road, we might even meet up with other mini owners that day.
We will meet at the shell station on 72 east at 6:00am over, just take I-565 east over the mountain the station is on the right side of the road. We leave at 7:00am this takes about a 3 hour drive to get to the base of the dragon, we will take 72 east to Chattanooga then get on I-75 to Knoxville, we will take hwy 64 then get on hwy 411 for a short distance then turn on hwy 20 that will take us to the dragon.
The dragon is 11 miles 318 turns, we will drive up to Fontana dam, have lunch and if we have time drive up in the mountains coming out at the road that will take us home, this will be an all day run. Shine up your mini, dust off your camera lens, it is only one week till we head to the dragon in the hills of Tenn. to see the fall colors
