I'm new with this type of thing. How does one join the MOTD? Do you just show up and enjoy everything? Is there a registration? If anyone could let me know more information, it would be great! Thanks!

 

Registration will most likely open up in Feb./March time frame. At that time you can registar for the dinners and other events that are available.

In the mean time......find some lodging. It goes really quick. Fontana village where most of the activities are based out of, already has a wait list. You can ask them to add you to the wait list. You can check back here and folks often post up that they can no longer go and want to transfer over their reservation. It's best to secure some alternative lodging in the mean time.

That's a great answer from Snooter. I'll 'ditto' the comment about finding a place to stay. Start now. I had mine booked last May.

MOTD is primarily a grass roots event with guidance from NAM and lots of help from several of the MINI clubs across the nation. There is a modest registration fee to help cover event insurance etc and cover some of the group expenses. Each event will have its own sign-up process (most coordinated right here in this forum in 2-4 months), so just keep checking back here.

You will see it here. Beginning Feb 1, 2008 post someone in front of you computer 24/7 and logon to NAM keep hitting the F5 key every 5 minutes so you don't miss something.

Really don't do this I was just kidding.

 

HMMM could be a good day to take off and hit that F5 key - wonder if my boss will allow that.

None the less - looking forward to seeing all those MINIs/Minis in one place
