We are thinking happy thoughts but can't help thinking "of all people coming here a special light coming on."

Hope it's just a glitch in the mainframe. What's the frequency, Kenneth? (Quietly wishing the best!)

Your MINI is pouting because you aren't driving down with the Great Rustbelt Caravan!

Go check your spark plugs and re-torque if necessary. You might be lucky and it will be a tiny little thing.

If the car drives normally, it's probably minor. There will be no shortage of people with diagnostic stuff down there, me included. I can diagnose all the subsystems, not just the engine. I can reset those pesky airbag lights.

My first MOTD event in 04 consisted of a brake warning light coming on during the trip. Luckily Yucca was there to calm my fears and the time I spent at the dragon was a blast.

Hopefully it's something minor.

Better now than half way there....Probably minor if the cars still running OK. Good luck and have fun at the Dragon with this little glitch behind you!

Well I guess Im next up for a broken car. It developed a loud groaning sound under low speeds about an hour ago and is sitting at the dealership as we speak. They wont even be able to look at it until later this afternoon.

Chin up, hun. Maybe it's nothing more than your MINI telling you that it needs to move at 'higher' speeds.

I'll send positive thoughts your way.
