Registration for Ice Cream Run!

Check the event planner. Don't forget to register for the ice cream run! There was some dispute as to where to meet, so it's been finalized, and we're meeting at the old registration lot at the Fontana. If you're coming from a different direction, you're welcome to just meet us at Soda Pops. See you there!

Old registration lot? Do you mean the adventure center parking lot?
If that is the case, you may have to think about it again. I thought that that is going to be where all the vendors are going to be. Just want to be clear which parking lot you are talking about.

Here is what someone on the other thread said : Just down the road from the entrance to the Village is the building where one used to check in to the Fontana. It has a sizable lot and driveway, if I remember correctly.

I've never been, but I had to give Mark a location, and this seemed the most logical. Someone else said that's where the brew swap parking was last year, so it should be plenty large enough. If anyone wants to change the location, feel free to contact Mark. I did my best with what I was given.

The old registration area is an ideal meeting place. Good choice!

(Note to all others - this is NOT the Adventure Center parking lot... it's a separate turn-in from Route 28. Almost feels like another property separate from Fontana. It's after the "main" Fontana road entrances but before the turn for the top of the dam).

I registered but didn't see a way to add my wife. Does she have to register too or are you just counting cars? I would think you would need a total head count including kids.

Yeah it looks like it's just counting cars. Does Soda Pops need an actual head count?

That was me..the location is just what Haemish said. If you go out the driveway of the main entrance to Fontana, turn right and go up the road a lil ways, it'll on your right.
Kamo, if you need someone to stand there and hold a "Ice Cream Run Gathering point- Turn Here" sign or something to that effect, I could help out...

That might help. I don't think you need to stand there, holding the sign though. Just sticking it in the ground would probably work!

I'm up to my eyeballs in stuff that I "fell" into, so to set the record straight, I am NOT volunteering for sign duty.

We're registered.

My wife (Catterfly) and I are both on the list(as a matter of fact, I'm there twice thanks to a little computer issue I had ), but we will only have one MINI. Hope that doesn't mess up your count.
