Some provision will be made for those of us that want to drive the Dragon at midnight? So even thougn the hours are until 12:30, we can leave at 11:00 and still be eligble fot the auction, prizes, etc... Aware of the 300 limit so I want to register soon before I'm looking in the windows from the outside, again!

Yes, we are working on how to do that, it will be taken care of!!!

My thinking right now, is that those that want to leave for the Midnight run, put their NAM usernames on their tickets before dropping them in the cans for the auction. Then when the tickets are pulled, if there is a name, you win, and we will hold the prizes till you get back from the drive.

I would like to remind those of you attending the Monte Carlo Night that drinking and then driving in the Midnight on the Dragon Event is not cool. Please keep that in mind if you plan to attend both events.

This looks like a great event for a very worthy cause!

A couple questions: are we supposed to dress up like we're in Monte Carlo? And what is a "Chinese Auction?"

Totally, up to you on how you want to dress. I may have a Tux.

Chinese auction is where each prize has a can/box, and you put your tickets in the drawing for only the prizes you are interested in winning.

Hey, Steve! Maybe you need to make a Monte Carlo Night long-sleeved tux-esque tee shirt for this event!

Great cause!!!
Hey all,
Great cause!!
Thanks for arranging this!!
I never was much of a gambler but since I'm now an owner of an '07 MINI (first build year) I guess I am now so why not celebrate with a Casino night! Sounds great!
How about all the other 07 owners join in on a great night of celebrating our collective gamble.

I am not (never was) much of a gambler either - but this is PLAY money in a social atmosphere full of friendly people where I can still win prizes (even if I lose "everything") and it is for a good cause - If I'm ever gonna "gamble" this is as sure a bet as I can find for a good time!

*runs off to study how to play craps*

Hi everyone!

This is Pamala, "Mielnicki's" wife. I cannot tell you how very excited we are about this event! We have had a blast planning it and can't wait to see all of you there having a terrific time!!

Just in case you haven't ever attended a Casino Night Party, here are a couple things that you might like to know:

1. This is NOT real gambling, so no worries about knowing how to play the games or losing any money etc... The "dealers" will actually teach you how to play. It will be a very relaxed and fun atmosphere.

2. The event company we have hired to set up and run the PittStop Mini Casino specializes in this type of charitable event and does them all over the United States. The props they use and the people who run the show will be very authentic, but the best part is you can play all night long and not lose a single penny!

If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We want everyone to relax and enjoy an evening of fun entertainment, cool prizes and great friends.

Pamala

Sounds like a lot of fun! First-timer and will be bringing my 16 year old daughter, does she have to just watch or can she play since it is not real gambling?

Under 16, can play with some of their parents money. 16 and over pay full admission and get their own "cash"

Our event website lists everything you get with your ticket, but I thought it would be a good idea to list it all here! Here's the link: http://www.pittstopmini.org/casinoRegister.htm

For only $25 per ticket, you will receive:

- $25,000 in free casino chips for playing: Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Texas Hold'em & Slots!
(All run by a professinoal event company with authentic gaming tables and dealers.)

- A minimun of 5 Chinese auction tickets plus, you can cash your winnings at the end of the evening for extra chances to win cool prizes! (Provisions will be made to accomodate anyone leaving for Midnight on the Dragon)

- 50/50 Drawing

- Great Door Prizes given away throughout the evening!

- Limited open bar! (If and when the pre-paid tab is consumed, it will become a cash bar.)

- Free non-alcoholic beverages & snacks all evening!

- DJ with great music!

- Goody bag of cool swag!

- A massively fun and entertaining evening with games, music, great friends and cool prizes!!
