MODding on the Dragon

I hear that many a good MOD can be found at the Dragon, seeing as how so many of our supporting vendors plan to attend... Who out there knows that they'll have extra cash in their pockets for MODs, and what were you looking to do? Hopefully, if enough people chime in, then maybe we can assist the vendors in choosing merchandise to bring along, and just maybe lead to some group-buy type situations.

For me, I'd love to check out a 15% reduction pulley, if that degree of work will be possible at such a location. I'm also in the market for a USB system, as I've heard that's a "must have" performance MOD for the cabrio...

I'll almost certainly NOT be able to afford both MODs simultaneously, but I'm definitely looking at doing one or the other... Hopefully someone will have a great sale on one or both items there (hint hint).

Pulleys, exhausts, intakes, USS/STB installs, sway bars, you name it. I've seen it all being done at the Dragon.

We will be doing installs on a whole host of goodies. Like Greatbear said, pulleys, intakes, exhausts, sway bars, all can be installed at the Dragon.

We can do anything at the Dragon. I think we did 7 or 8 M7 under strut systems last year. And I can't count the pullies we did. See you there.

I'll be looking for a good deal on either an M7 Strut Tower Brace or else the Strut Tower Reinforcement Plates

I'm leaning towards the 15% pulley over the USS system at the moment... I don't think I'll be driving agressively enough, often enough, that I'll really be able to take maximum advantage of the USS system, shy of occasional Auto-X days. The pulley though - well, more HP is always a good thing.

Seeing as how 15% pulleys retail for approx. $120-$130, what can I expect to pay for the unit with installation? Sounds like LOTS of people get pulleys while at the Dragon from what's already been posted in here, so I assume that there will be sales/special pricing offered in the vendor area? Sorry if this is a no-brainer question - this is my first MotD and I'm not 100% sure what to expect.

Thanks!

Dragon Tuning

How about I bring my dyno and do some of the custom tunes that everybody has been talking about here at home. There's already a ton of people that are stopping here on the way for a reflash maybe I'll take my show on the road too.

How about I put you down for #1 install at MOTD6 I think that will set a record for earliest scheduled appointment.

I've seen Way do pulleys, at Dave's shop in SC, and believe me, he could do it, half asleep and while frying eggs on the manifold, and checking on the toast browning on the exhaust tips! Not that he will, just wanted to give you the visual! ;-)

I can't decide what I want to do this year. Are camber plates out of the question as that would require alignment?

It seems the possibilities are endless as the vendors proved last year they can work their tails off no matter the weather.

Funny you asked that. We are putting together a Camber plate install package. We def. will be able to install the Ireland Engineering Fixed Camber plates. And working a setup to align cars to to Hsport or other Camber plates. I think this will be a good mod for people that already have a pulley and the usual mods.

Also we will def. have 07 mods. Can't say what exactly as products will be developed before then. We hope to have some 07 products ready for Vegas, but it's going to be a time crunch.
