Remember everyone, to please bring food, drink, cooler space, ice, music....Oh and bring seating, if you can. There's no way I can seat 34 people!...especially if the weather misbehaves.... it better not.

 

We are bringing two casserole dishes of homemade sausage ziti (yes it is incredibly yummy!) ... looking forward to seeing everybody Tuesday pm there.

I was over at Katie's house today and saw how MUCH kitchen stuff she is bringing! I think she had about every pot in her house packed and ready to go tomorrow! I can't WAIT!!!

 

What you didn't see was every single serving spoon I own, packed in that big box. Salt, pepper grinder, sugar, herbs, my secret ingredient for the sauce, cereal, dish towels, fave snacks and on and on...and my suitcase weighs a freakin' ton, too. I am managing to leave the kitchen sink at home, tho'...

 

OK..I called Fontana this AM to get my cabin #. It's 583. In my morning fog, I forgot to ask where exactly it's located, sorry. Look for a DCMM banner tied to the front porch and a DK SLVR S parked in the driveway or out front.
I'm leaving today, and am not bringing my laptop, so this is my last communication with you.

I'm headed out Monday (yet another day earlier ) so I may have time to pick up some "bring-ies" from Ingles for the feast.... I'm in 906 on Chehoah. See you all there!

I am unsure of which cabin Katie is in, but if you drive up Welch Road, it will be near the top of the hill and have a DCMM banner hanging on the porch. I guess just roll down your windows, put your smeller out and sniff out the dinner! Or just look for ALL the people!

 

Katie, consider this my early registration for next year. We will be arriving on Sunday and staying the week, made reservations before we left.

Glad you all enjoyed it! The sauce was much better this year since I had my "secret" ingredient.
Katie's Mountain Bistro serving her Dragon Sauce will be in the same cabin next year, unless Fontanna has yanked it from beneath me.
