at least 25 folks so far. Figure 30-35 when all is said and done. I called Fontana, Stace, and I can't get the exact same cabin as last year 
, but I still won't be too far. I just hopes the oven works...that was an unhappy surprise next year.
Since I won't know which cabin I'll be in til I get there, I hang another of my lovely homemade signs for all to see. Of course, you can always look for my car...DK SLVR S, grey-tone Union Jack full roof graphic, with MD plates MY S.

It was a spontaneous trip when I got freed up from work for a few hours. I was hoping to hook up with more people this week but just couldn't make it happen. I did meet Matt (CmdrVimes) at LDG on Thursday. Great guy!

Something happened to Tori and/or her car?
Stace, and everyone elso...don't feel you have to bring enough food to feed the entire bunch..which could top 30. If your dish or supplies can feed 10-12, that'll be enough. If enough folks bring dishes that will feed that many, then there will be a nice variety and ample supplies.
However, we probably can't have enough ice and drinks...cuz those items, if left over, can be easily reclaimed by their bringers.

This was so successful last year that I'm doing it again. Free dinner for the early birds, to be held at my cabin (I'll post which one as soon as I know it).
I will supply pasta, my home-made sauce..made fresh that day, and a salad.
I will have paper products as well.

Supplies of food will be limited. I made 8 quarts of sauce and 6 pounds of pasta last year and nearly all of it was eaten. I plan on making the same amount this year, so don't be late!
