Krystals? Im sure the ride home with you aint pretty
I feel your pain. Now if only GA would sell beer on Sundays
No Whataburgers in GA that I know of. I actually lived in Auburn for a short while and never had a Whataburger although I did like Cheeburger Cheeburger . When we plan our 'Bama Burger Ride we'll let you know, Im sure I could smuggle some booze across the border for you!

OK here's the deal. I will meet you at the state line. I'll bring the burgers, you bring the beer
p.s... If you've never tried Jack's Hamburgers, they have a few locations in GA, Bowdon & Tallapoosa (near Carrolton where I am going for beer ) & they have a great old timey tasting burger

There's a Whataburger on the way down to FL that has LCD tvs above the men's room stalls.
Milo's are great. Kind of gets under your fingernails, the sauce does.
At least we can purchase alcohol on Sunday (in Jefferson County).
TT, do you go to Showcase beverage? I believe that's what they're called- quite a store.

I haven't been yet but next Saturday I plan to go to both Cheers & Showcase as they are very near each other. I have read in reviews that Cheers is better but I will know for myself this Sat

Well I hope all of you people are proud of yourselves
Before the Brewswap I had only been exposed to bassackwards Alabama less than 6% alkehaul beer. But can I go back to drinking that swill now??? Nooooooooo I am now forced to drive to an entire other state to find beer that I can stand to drink
Just got back from Georgia
I'm not having sharing this treasure at another beer tasting so hopefully this will last me a day or 2 & WOOHOOI was able to get my hands on another entire case of Flying Dog Double Dog Double Pale Ale for moi.

I tried a big Hoppy Moster last nite. It was good but getting as close to dark as I car to go & yes that's a Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA. I mostly bought IPAs as that is my favorite beer but I got a lil variety too. I got some Shiner Hefeweizen at the swap & it was my fav of the low alcohol, non-IPA so I got some more of it too.

bamatt . . . what's the story on that one brew with the Mothers of Invention Freak Out album label? Wowie Zowie!
Care to trade that for a Christopher Cross Smooth "Sailing" Extra Light Alcohol Free Pale Near Lager?

I got to try the Double Dog Double Pale Ale this weekend, courtesy of Bamatt (from the swap).
It kicked my ***. Really. The flavor was too strong for me to enjoy. I noticed the IBU's were 85 and I was stunned at the flavor level for an 85. I've drank Stone's products (of which a couple are over 100 IBUs) and they weren' too strong for me. This was.
Thanks again for the bottle though Teresa. It's still better than no beer.
I finally got to try the Scape Goat Pale Ale from Big Sky that was used in the beerlympics. Wow! That was tasty.

MBE it was the strong bitter in conjunction with the 10.5% alcohol that made it too strong for you. I have grown to love it but the downside is that all other beers taste weak in comparison. Oh well at least I have found out that it is now a full time brew so I will be able to get it year round

Well I have tried a few of my other new beers & while liking or disliking a beer is very subjective here's what I thought anyways...
the really good...Freak Out Ale , Victory Hop Devil, Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA
the bad Orange Blossom Pilsner
the soso - Widmer Hefeweizen
