If you want to go into full geek mode, use a laptop and projector and display the winners on the wall after the computer picks them at random. You could also attach a fixed position camera to it so we can get a top-down view over the beerlympics
I WILL have my carputer and camera fully integrated by next MOTD, and would be glad to help setup the e-Brewswap

I will take any and all help I can get sir. Let me mark you down in my Swap Spreadsheet. In a month or so I plan to start working on next year's event. I'd like to have all the details ready to go by January 1.
If anyone has a laptop and a good webcam we can even record the event and burn it to DVD. I have a decent webcam.

Well I call one team if Detroit tuned will have me again..... if not then I will have to join or start another team.....
I can't wait for this event....
Just make sure it is on a different night from monte carlo night.... any other conflicts don't matter... My opinion of course!

You said you would get me back for the "trip into the tires" during our go-Kart outing... and a certain incriminating email leads me to only a small number of conclusions- Ha Ha- don’t make me pull out the embarrassing pictures of the “track official” pulling you out of the tires and pointing you in the right direction.

It was either set you up with the hard questions or let Heidi beat you up. I figured this way was less embarassing.

Even though I don't have any of my beers that some of you generously donated I didn't want to miss the fun of drinking post MOTD. So I stopped by the store down the street with the excellent selection and picked up these for the week. There's also a German Ice Beer in the fridge (9.2% abv).

It's only like 8.x% abv. That's not too bad.
It doesn't say what the Oktoberfest is. Need to find that out. Tonight is the German Ice Beer, tomorrow is the Optimator.

The Brew Swap was what I was most looking forward to this year. Although, that little road called Hwy 129 is always pretty cool too.
I had an absolute blast!
The room was awesome. It was a crowd without being too crowded. I wouldn't add many more to the attendance.
There was plenty of time to mingle. Everyone became quite friendly by the second hour and that was great.
I won't even try to take pictures next year. They all came out blurry for some reason.
I enjoyed the homebrew contest and people seemed to like my beer. I had several compliments and I traded all that I brought. I would have liked to have had the results announced even though I didn't win. I will certainly do it again next year.
The Beer Trivia was a bit too long. But, again, plenty of time to mingle.
I brought home a tremendous selection of beers that I can't get in Kentucky. My Beer Closet looks fantastic as I stand in the doorway and choose each evening's beer. Speaking of beer, I have to specifically thank Ords for the Three Floyds. THANK YOU!
Matt, you did an outstanding job!

My honey and I had a great time. I doubt you will be able to come up with something as exciting as Chad's proposal to our Queen for next year. I have two suggestions. I loved watching the Beerlympics. Perhaps next year start with the team event and then run Beer Pong on one side of the stage while the other events are going on. It takes a long time. 2nd, maybe the prizes can be distributed over the course of the evening. I liked having a bunch of prizes (of course I won something so I'm prejudiced). If you called out a couple winners each half hour and culminated with the big prize and shifter **** in the last half hour It would keep the excitement going, and you would catch most of those people before they left for the drive-in. I would love to help next year IF we can come. We were not able to secure a room as Fontana was booked before we left.
Thanks so much for all your effort - it was the most exciting event of the week-end
