I would personally never touch.... or never place anything on ANY car.... that I did not own... unless I was invited to do so.

It is personal property.

I would personally not be happy....if someone did this to my MINI.

I was not happy when an "actual size sticker" was applied to my MINI in 04.

Walk up to me and ask if I would like one.
I'll reply in a freindly manner...... yes or no

If I'm not there to answer the question... please move on

Just my 2 cents

Peace,
D

I saw mine being tagged from a distance, but did not figure out what he'd done until a bit later. So, if you did not hear me then: Thanks, tagger.

I got tagged. It is something of a Dragon tradition. But if you don't like it, you can take it off very easily. Several people who were not tagged stopped me to ask where they could get the really nice sticker used.

I too was tagged but NOT vandalised I caught the person in the act and it was better than watching a James Bond movie..let me first say that I'm extremely passionate about my car and don't like anyone touching it. But while watching them from my chair in the dark in the campground I was amazed to see someone sneeking up to my car. I was getting up from my chair and heading over to comfront them when I noticed the flashlight come on and they were cleaning my window..hmmm this was odd ..then they made sure to it was placed evenly on the window by this time they realized I was next to them I don't know who was more startled we both laughed and they then asked if it was ok. I had meet this person earlier in the day as most of you had and they are just as passionate about their MINIs as us. This took alot of forethought to do art work, get the sticker made up in advanced then while most of us were asleep or preoccupied they were trying to give everyone something to remember after all it was a friendly joke. My bet would be that if this person would have sold them they would have made a very good profit off all of us. I myself am still laughing and think this is what I will remember the most about motd 2006. And to the prankster thanks and hope to see you, I mean get tagged again next year

Vandals wooooooo!

Well I gotta jump in here, I was looking for the guys who were tagging everyones car. I wanted a sticker for my mini. Realy it's just vinyl on a window. 2 seconds and it's off if you don't like it. I saw a few actual size stickers that were tagged this year also. There's gotta be more serious stuff to post about . Vandalized, really!!

Hmmmm...seems the work of a hard-core, seasoned professional. They're the slippery ones, you know.

btw, don't be too hard on those who talked this thing into the ground. Things were a "little slow" for the rest of us around here this weekend (if you know what I mean) and who can pass on such good drama.

if it wasn't on the paint...then no biggie....I don't like having stickers "placed" on my mini...but it can be taken off

Oddly enough, my car, commonly known as the "sticker wh*re", was NOT tagged! I do now have 28 dragon stickers/magnets on it though! And 9 Detroit Tuned!

Any photos of these. I hear stories but I think it is something that is only realized with a picture.

I got tagged and I like it. If I get sick of it I know how to use a razor blade.

I was kind of surprised how some people complained about various things this weekend. I thought the whole event was well organized and we had a great time. Thanks to all.

Here's a pic of the side of my car. The special decal is the white vinyl one in the shape of a dragon with MOTD 2006 inside the dragon near the B pillar

geezzz, I had to PAY for my dragon stickers.

But, I have to agree that touching someone else's MINI isn't right. I liked the stick it under the wiper idea. btw, I hope you got 2 so the MINI is properly balanced.

Lastly, it was my first time at the Dragon and WOW! What a large bunch of great lookin' MINI's! I'm signing up for Adult night classes to learn how to clean and polish this summer.

Wonder if this is the same 'Actual Size' bandit from a few years ago?

I am sooooo bummed! I got no sticker! I wanted a sticker! I even thought briefly about affixing a "tagger, please apply dragon sticker here" sign to my car...

I wanted it because all my stickers are blue and white, like my car -- and the dragon was white and it just would have looked very cool...

However, this is extra incentive to return next year!

I actually liked the look of the sticker quite a bit.. and would have loved to come up to my MINI and see one stuck under one of my wipers so I could do with it as I please.

But actually applying that sticker to my window??? Totally unacceptable.

I saw this on someone's MINI at the rec center on Friday afternoon and said **I NEED ONE**...had I known they were super secret tags, I would've stood in the rain until I got one. Instead, I thought they would be selling these at the Crossroads since the idea is such a marketing ploy - dated sticker for each year you slay the Dragon -- Cha-Ching?! So, today we drive out to the Crossroads and asked them about the sticker - they told me the sticker wasn't one of theirs so, I got a blue dragon since it matches my Andy, but I am totally disappointed that a) I didn't get tagged and 2) there's no way to get one of these dated dragons now that it's all over.

This was our first Dragon - my husband and I had to stay in Cherokee because we were unsure of the area and by the time we had some info - the close stuff was booked. I booked a cabin in Fontana yesterday for next year. Hopefully next year, I'll actually be able to participate in events other than driving down the road waving at other MINIs and I'll get tagged - on the window and properly placed, of course

Here is what it looks like. It is realy quite cool. As I recall ( I was not there) the Actual Size was one of these Tags.. This was passed out at registration (sorry to those who did not get one if you wanted one, but we gave out what we had!) and we gave them ALL out within the first few hours of registration (I know this because I was handing you all your Cooper Flags clings) So yes, maybe this will become another trend. I personally think it is awsome. I know who was tagging and who spent their time away from making money for their business creating these little dragons. If you don't like it, take it off. But for those who were there may know that my car has kind of morphed into a "dragon mobile" so of course I like my tag. So Thanks to my "mysterious tagger"

I got tagged, and it's cool. I don't necessarily think it's the best thing to actually apply it w/o the owner's permission but the thought is good. I like the leave the sticker under the wiper thing.

Seriously, it's all in good fun people. Lighten up! It's just a decal on GLASS, it's not gonna hurt anything. I have decals on my PAINT, and my car is a multiple best in class winner at car shows. I don't mind!

Maybe more important . . . . . so, if I really, really, really, want one or 2 of these, who do I contact?

PS, if you're watching, I want 2 of them. I'd prefer red, but would buy white. PM me. pleeeeeeeeease.
