Questions about Fontana.

Just wanted to get a few answers from those of you who have stayed at Fontana. We are staying in one of the timeshares, 2bed 2baths. Anyway, how well equipped are the kitchens? Is the fridge a good size and most importantly is there a coffee maker???
Also, are there laundry facilities at Fontana anywhere?
Ok, gotta go put a few more coats of Zaino on El Kabong!

The cabin we had last year had a coffee maker, and we even had some Starbuck's Komodo Dragon (sp?) coffee! The fridge was big enough to hold everything for the 6 of us. There is a laundry mat by the general store that we used.

I haven't been in all of the timeshare cabins, but most of the larger cabins like your's have almost full sized kitchens. You can expect it to have pots and pans and a coffee maker and probably a regular sized fridge.

See you there!

You should expect the timeshares to be very well equipped. Some cabins, like the Dogwood we snagged for next to nothing, are pretty basic.

Do Dogwoods have a coffee maker? If not, I better bring one. Not having coffee IMMEDIATELY available for me would be cruel and unusual punishment for my cabinmates!

I'd been meaning to ask this, is there a place at Fontana that sells brewed coffee? I'm staying in one of the dogwoods, and don't plan to bring a coffee maker with me, but having a fresh cup in the morning is uhm, mandatory

The restaraunt at the Inn sold some last year, but they didn't open until 8.

you could always just bring a cheap french press with you...they sell them at target for under $10, and it makes a decent cup of coffee!

Last year we stayed in a Dogwood, and they did have a coffee maker. You do need to bring coffee and filters though......

I think our Dogwood had a coffee maker as well. I had the impression that Dogwoods were somewhat inconsistently equipped, however. Prolly a part of why they cost so little.
