Anyone else headed down Wednesday night?

 

Yes - a group of us from Chicago will be heading out of the city aroun 5:30 or so.

 

What route will you be using?

 

I65 to Indy... from there I'm not sure.

 

I've got that route saved somewhere I plan on simply following the leader

 

I was planning on heading east on 74 to Ohio, mind if I catch up with you guys in Indy?

 

We'll be staying in Cinci that night.

 

Hey fellow motorers from the south!

Since I couldn't get Wednesday off of work, my SO and I will be leaving Wednesday night late (11pm-ish) and driving through the night (I LOVE night driving). Anyone else planning to pull an all-night drive-a-thon? It'd be fun to hook up and do a "Midnight to the Dragon"!

 

Hey Rabbit... there'll be 6 MINI's stopped overnight in Cincy area (about the time you start rolling). We should be rolling again early THUR to get to the Dragon by mid afternoon.

 

Just picking a spot at random, or do you have reservations somewhere?

What time do you think you will be hitting Indy?

Three of us will be crashing at the Travelodge in Florence. Rooms were cheap when we made the reservations. About $45. Just so you know, (afaik) we were not going to be joining the larger group meeting at the rest stop on Thursday morning. We're leaving earlier than they are.

If we leave Chicago at 5:30, pending traffic and how fast we're motoring, we should roll past Indy between 9 - 9:30.

I will be behind the Chicago crew by a couple of hours, but I will be able to catch you at the Travel Lodge. From there I will travel south on Thursday morning with you guys. paulr gave me the low down, so I think I have everything I need.
