Finally got my own sign-on ...

Hope we can meet too! As for a name, I'm narrowing it down. The "C" thing makes it difficult.

Looks like my collection day will be Thursday 5/4. Checked the flights and the earliest I can get into Cleveland is 5:20 pm. So it will be a LONG day on Thursday, but I can see the light at the end of the "Dragon" tunnel. We'll probably only be there on Saturday and then book it home. We'll try to find you somehow on Saturday...how will we do that?

 

Come by the Dragon Jam on Saturday night, on The Porch of the Rec Center, 8:30 - 10:30. Everyone is welcome! If it's too loud, you can take a stroll and chat.

 

I'm crossing my fingers that we get the same cabin as last year. If so, we'll be directly across from the driveway entrance to the main Fontana Lodge/Adventure Center. The cabin is right on the corner and Grimace (my MCS) should be parked there.. probably with 2 DS MCS and 1 IB MCS. You've met Barnabas, correct? He (and Silvia ) is staying in our cabin. We'll both be at the AutoX all day Saturday but should be back in the afternoon.

 

This will be my first MOTD and I'm VERY much looking forward to it..

Will be arriving Wednesday with some of my fellow DCMMers! It will be exciting to finally see the results of what we have been planning ( with the help of others) for months!

(Probably not as completely as Bagheera's interior, but I'll know which one is his!) And of course I'll be on the lookout for Purple Hazes

Hey, Sally! Unless they got rid of it in the remodel, Fontana has at least one pool table... I've heard about your prowess!

 

Watch out for Sally, she kicked my **** last time we played pool!!

 

I'm only "good" (and that is stretching it) at pool if I'm a bit tipsy...go figure! I actually posted about the pool table so Sally will know to pack her cue.

 

Gotcha. And I know what you mean. The more I drink, the better I get. I wish that was how it would have been in school for math....

 

last time we played pool, you must have been completely sober. We all were soooooo bad, but I had a lot of fun. So want to do a UJ think the Sunday after we back from the dragon?

 

When you suck at pool, the games last longer... thus less quarters spent!

 

I am not certain, but I think there is no charge for shooting pool there. I think it may be included in the lodging fee. But don't quote me......

 

If there is a pool game for people that are bad, count me in!

 

hey cool!!! I see I'm not the only one who had bullhorns on the fron of their MINI!!

(Before you think I'm psycho... we had a MINI run called Haunted MINI's and we all dressed up.. I dressed up as Paul Bunyon JR and the car was Babe 2.0.. LOL!.. but I kept the horns on for a long time after that... I miss the old Cooper.. especially the MPG.. my new MCS is killing me this year on gas! )

This past Sunday Edge and I went to play pool at UJ, we both were doing very well and had a blast!! Of course, it helped that Haemish was using his new pool cue I got him for his birthday! He didnt have to use a warped house cue. (we both have similar pool playing abilities, but he may be slightly better than me ) I will have to remind him to pack his for the Dragon trip as well!
Is that weekend Mothers Day? Not sure if that will work for me, but maybe!?!

It never leaves the boot unless its to take it to a pool table!

I never was good at geometry. And to think, I grew up with a pool table, playing ALL the time too...Oh well. Guess it was better off as the laundry table!!LOL

 

Thats EXACTLY why I enjoy playing pool!! It was the only math course I took that I actually enjoyed and did well at. Of course be an artist is another reason, mathmatically working with all those shapes...
