I doubt it would be too bad, it wasnt last year with the big turnout. Only issues were during the big events and drives, where everyone would congregate at a specific time. Aside from that, there is so much for people to do otherwise that there wasnt any real grief. This year there are no planned major rides as before, and those that are have limits set on them and time differentials to minimize the 'gridlock'.

Still holding at 487. I do know that there are some who are going to be there but are not registering, instead doing their own thing. So, the 'real' total is a bit higher.

 

I'm organizing the larger of the 2 scenic drives and we intentionally tried to break the group up (3 blocks of 25 cars) so it won't be as bad. The folks who are organizing the event are really trying to learn from past problems.

A round of applause for the organizers! You folks ROCK for giving so much of your time before, during and after MOTD 2006 to make our trip as much fun as is possible!

495 just 5 to go to get to 500 but how far over will it go this year. Since there are so many people registering is their going to be any official MINI motoring mags or anything else going on at the event? I doubt if there will be a bigger event then this, it would be great if there were, this year but MITM may end up big too from the timing and place it is going to be at.

Anyone care to take a guess as to how many 'un-registered' attendees will show up? Not that I'm one heheee...

 

I hope not too many...it's going to be a huge job as it is. Not that I'd deny anyone the chance of attending, but official head counts do serve a purpose for this kind of event.

Michael (aka mistro) and Stephany Stroz just signed up, I believe we are 499 & 500. We will be driving our new to us 05 MCS Cabrio from FL to our home in CT. This will be our break in trip!!!! We will have less than 900 of our miles on it. Need a name. Need a mod at the Dragon. Let's Motor!!
