Whet your appetite

Nice day at the gap yesterday. Temps were nice but the breeze was brisk.
We ran into some of the Atlanta MINIs and some nice folks from the Tar Heels club too.
Not much traffic and the store and restaurant is open at the Crossroads.

I sure was eating a lot of Lotus dust in the Mini though.

My God!! You are breeding them. Is that your baby behind the Lotus? That is one nice looking Classic Mini

Yeah, but even that crowd has to love it when a classic Mini shows up. Minis will always be clebs, I don't care who you're running with.

I sure hope so. We are doing a three day Lotus run all over western NC the third weekend in May. Because I get car sick I am driving the classic Mini and swapping out some with hubby in the Lotus. I just hope I can keep up. I must admit I really didn't eat that much Lotus dust because after a few turns I never really saw him until the Crossroads.

Looks like you had a fun time with the Mini and the Lotus. Weather permitting, I may try to head up that way this weekend. I had some dragon stickers for my 03 MCS but none for my 06 MCS. I thought about it and to save postage charges I think I'll go get them in person.

Yah, and they stick on better if you purchase them there. I did cheat though. I bought new ones for the '06 while there in the '76. I usually won't do that. My general rule is......the one that needs the stickers does the drive. But I looked at 193 miles on the clock of the new one and I was certain if I took it I would do something I would regret. Daggone break in.

Yeah the weather sure was nice. Y'all made Jeremy's day by letting him
sit in the Elise. Bring Cooper next time.

Let us know if you guys are coming this way. Say "Hi" to the tall guy for
me.

Well I am sorry I didn't think about it but Jeremy sure could have ridden to the other end with David. Make sure he mentions it in May and one of us will take him out in it. We'll drive as careful as you Dad.

Cooper will be along for the Dragon Run. Luckily, the school system is cooperating as he has that Friday off.

queenb,

I utterly envy your garage and driveway! I sure hope I get to see both of those beauties in person some day... are you going to bring both to MOTD? <wishful look>

No problem Donna. He got to ride with Scott from Robbinsville to Tapoco
on Sunday morning and was thrilled. If you guys bring the Elise we will
certainly try to find time for him to make a run with David.

We look forward to seeing you all, including Cooper and the girls (are they
coming?) in May if not before.

OBTW, have you seen the pictures Killboy posted? Also, Jill posted her pics
on her webpage: http://www.meanmrbean.com/html/dragon_runs_2006.html

We are bringing the Lotus, the Mini and Casper to the Dragon. I find it funny that the craptastic JCW is staying home.

As far as envy, modest house, furniture could use an update and I don't do shopping. Hobbies of hubby and myself are so closely aligned that all available funds are funneled into machinery. Sometimes I forget to buy food. The only disagreement is whose car gets what first.

Went to deals gap to buy some stickers today and found a nice road. It was busy. Let me rephrase that. It was very busy today. Temps were nice and it seemed everyone came out to play.

As we were leaving. I believe I saw battle cattle pass in the other direction. I've never met him but I would recognize those lights anywere. Looks good, bc.
