WANTED: projector for the beer swap
I suppose this could go in the beer swap thread, but that thread goes off-topic enough as it is. :-)
Does anyone have a projector with a VGA or S-Video input that we could use during the beer swap for showing Top Gear episodes? I figure there's gotta be *someone* out there who owns one or has easy access to one.
Thanks!

Yeah, I started to put that in my original message; it all made sense in my head. What's wrong with you people? ;-)
The choice had to be made when choosing the time for the beer swap: do it the same time as the Italian Job movie, or the midnight run. The midnight run won, so we'll have to forego the movie. I'm thinking Top Gear will be at *least* as much fun, even if it is less topical.

Maybe we should get an iMax type film that gives people motion sickness, to quickly expose anyone who's had had one too many.
You know, like the one that swoops around Mt. Everest and almost crashes into the ridges, then suddenly dips straight down and aims for some rock...
Movie requires dark and (somewhat) quiet. Beer swap requires light and boisterous conversation.

Well, I think it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that they can't be in the same place, and the *will* be at the same time, and I, for one, really wanted to see the movie, too, but I own both versions and I seldom get to sample new beers. So.
Now, how about that projector? :-)

Red you better be at the Brew Swap. I understand your club is putting on the drive in but...beer man BEER! Blalor summed up my feelings perfectly. I can watch TIJ anytime. I'm not going to be able to sample beer from 3 dozen different breweries from around the nation any other time but May 5th at 9pm.
Hey Chris I have the IMAX movie Super Speedway about indy racing. That may work.
So no one has a projector eh? Don't make me beg...or bribe.
