I'm expecting delivery soon and will likely get winter wheels and tires. When I last checked, Tire Rack and Discount Tires do not have wheel/tire packages for the U25. They say they don't know what fits. I've never researched wheels and don't know what to consider other than the number of bolts and bolt spacing. Does anyone know where to find the needed information such as bold spacing, offset, etc? I'm sure they have wheels that fit.
I'll also accept recommendations on tires. I've had various blizzak before and they are fine. I'm wondering if there are more aggressive snow tires vs performance snows. I'm heading into the mountains this winter and want to prioritize traction. I had a friend who said Hakkapeliitta are unmatched in the snow but louder.
I went to the website which was useless. I'll ask by my dealer has gone down hill. When I tried to buy for the F60 (now totaled by a very large truck) they had none in the correct size for the car. They seem to know nothing about the car. I hesitated to buy another but have enjoyed Mini's. You are correct, I should ask.
I can give you the wheels, what U25 do you have I wanted to make sure it does not have the JCW brakes. Those are the ones you have to worry about on wheels.

Not JCW - USA S - shipped with the 19s but I will likely do 18s for winter.
That General Grabber setup is the official winter tire. Seems crazy since it is not even a snowflake-and-mountain tire and has a very un-mini tread. Probably very noisy and not great for EV efficiency.
Our local dealer got the OEM 18-inch wheels, sensors, and Nokia Hakkapeliitta R5 SUV tires (rated for the weight of our EV) and they are just a tiny bit noisier but no less responsive than the OEM Bridgestones. The only downside was the very high cost of the setup. BMW may have an 18-inch wheel that is a little more affordable.
Never go to a dealer unless it’s needed, they price gouge. You can find your own setup for half the price a dealers rapes you for!! I ended up with a set of 19” Braelins wrapped in some premium Toyo Rubber.
