I am off for the MOTD! I have been waiting for a decent weather window to make the drive via I80. That window is Tuesday(26)! Can't wait to experience this great event!

I started out on Thursday, April 7th! But I like to take my time getting there!

I leave on Thursday morning (May 5th )but that is because I'm only about 6 hours away.

We will be leaving Michigan on Wednesday, 4/27. Will be staying the weekend in Oak Ridge TN. for a national ASA archery shoot. We will be leaving there on Monday and headed to the dragon. Hope to have some time to kick back before the crowd arrived on Thursday. We will be leaving Fontana on Thursday 5/5 and heading north to meet the great detroit caravan somewhere around the KY/TN boarder.

leaving on May 5th with the Great Detroit/Dragon caravan the drive is half the fun!

 

Leaving from central east coast of Florida on Wednesday the 4th. It's an 8-9 hour drive by Interstate, but leaving a day early we can avoid the Interstates altogether, and drive two six-hour days on the back roads.

 

I am leaving midnight on 4/29. Should be at the Dragon 4/30 AM ready to ride and drive. Hope to be able to relax and enjoy my motorcycle until the following weekend when it becomes MINI HEAVEN- Ahhhhhh :smile: I cannot wait.

 

We are leaving, Irwin, PA (20 Miles E of Pittsburgh) between 3-4am Thursday May 5. Plan to arrive at Fontana a little after lunchtime.

I can't wait.

There is going to be a group caravaning from NC and SC meeting at different places along I-40. I think someone needs to plug in an 8 track and play "CONVOY"!

Hi Miniacs, We will be leaving the Toronto, Ontario area at approximately 6:30am on May 4th. Meeting up with a few more Minis at Jack's place in Lewiston NY. Then the race is on.

 

Leaving Irwin, PA in 20 minutes (20 miles east of Pittsburgh)

Hooking up with the NE Ohio carvan @ 9am just south of Columbus, OH we will then hook up with the Detroit contingent @ 11:30am just past the Ohio Kentucky state line.
