Well see the problem here is that bringing along the clutch isn't my problem... It's small.... It's the pit crew and all of their associated gear needed to pull apart the tranny and replace the clutch that I'm having issues with Between the general shortage of space, contract negotiations, health benefits we're having issues finding MINI techs that are will to ride down to Deal's Gap on the roof of the Subaru, go figure!

Just bring the clutch. There's going to be more pit crew there that you can shake a stick at along with the tools.

Hmm, that would make the Aero grill install we did in the parking lot at the Chili Cookoff last year look like child's play. Can I watch.

Yeah, but I hear their labor rates are even higher than the people I've been trying to contract!

On a serious note, when I had "break" problems last year, I wanted to see if I could get my MINI up on the lift in the garage of the Texaco at Fontana. Their mechanic was not available that saturday and so the lift could not be used.

Might be a great idea for someone to contact the texaco and inform them that there are several hundred vehicles coming and there is a good chance that the lift could be put to good use for emergency repairs, inspections, or aftermarket upgrades.

I will bring my tools and floor jack again.

I'll toss in extra brake pads, a pulley removal tool, belt tensioner tool, laptop...

Yet again you amaze me with all you can get in the MINI to bring down....but I'm sure that Yucca agrees -- when his brake breaks, you were a lifesaver. (and not just the minty fresh kind )

Hugs,
PB

I'll probably be bringing some Bone creepers for a giveaway, I can bring an extra or two for people to use for repairs and such if people would like.

Looks like I will be making it afterall with my New JB/B MCS and I also registered for my younger brother to be bringing the LY/LY MC CVT! He says I am a pansy after being shook up by the ride in Coop's MCS. Just wait till I give it to him, I know he will through up.

it takes a lot for me to throw up but if it happens ill be a man about it and let everyone make fun of me for it, because where is the fun in not making fun of somebody for something like that (wow that past sentence is a bit confusing at first glance). Cant wait, dont care if i have school those days, saving my absences just for this.
