I went ahead and reserved a Laurel for my wife and I. This past time we could only find room at Robbinsville. The Microtel was very nice but I want to be within walking, or stumbling distance of all the action next year.

 

I'm reserved at the Inn... Don't really think I need a cabin with a kitchen as I'm not planning on cooking anything but my tires. Hahaha... Seriously, do I need a cabin? I haven't been to the Dragon yet & don't know if I'm going to end up rooming out in the boondocks with the action on the other side of Fontana...

Dare I ask exactly what goes on at the Party Cabin? Is it something that does not involve "mini" quantities of intoxicants??

 

we're gonna be at the microtel again. Paul needs the DSL to keep in touch with work. Besides..while the Fontana is the center of things, I have two words for the folks staying there:

Just reserved my Inn room!! According to the very nice receptionist at Fontana, they only have a 'few' Inn rooms left!


I forgot to ask when I called, but if anyone wants to 'rough' it, it Fontana's campsite open?

Just got off the phone with Fontana Village, and yes the 1 bedroom cabins are sold out. I opted for the Honeymoon Suite again, hopefully this time I'll get around to using the fireplace and jacuzzi.

 

Can't wait for this. Last year, my first, was a blast.

I just reserved a room at Fontana. Got a laurel cause I wanted a fridge to keep the beverages frosty.

I got a room at the Inn. The last two years I was at the Microtell. I look forward to seeing everyone again.

Just made my reservation today (May 5th - 9th). Got a Laurel Cabin. I was told that the Willows are sold out (as we knew) and that there are "a few" Laurel's left. Rates are as posted on the first page of this thread. I thought that I would stay at Fontana this year just because I'm lazy. Plus it puts me closer to the Mountain Biking at the Tsali Recreation area for Sunday :smile: .

Plus now I have a kitchen to work on my Chili for the 2005 Dragon's Breath Chili Cook-Off. I am working on a new recipe for this year and it's sure to win!

I have officially made reservations for the Fontana. Got one of their Laurels. We decided to stay in the area this year. This way Jen can enter the chili cookoff this time.

We'll meet your caravan in Ohio again this time. That was one of our favorite parts of the trip. Gonna try to get some more people in my neck of the woods to come this time.

 

Just booked at Fontana! Got an Inn room (cheaper) and there are still some left (for those who still need to call).

 

I made my reservertion yesterday and they still had Fireplace rooms.

My reservation for a Willow Cabin @ Fontana was made back on may 19th.
So my New Little One (she should be here by then !!!! ) and I will show up. Maybe my husband will come w/ HIS Little One - but he is not a Mini Fanatic.. so maybe he is not going to be at the Dagon !!!

 

Just so nobody freaks... Somebody suggested a list of attendees so I cut the posts from people declaring their reservations out of the 2005 Dragon thread and started a new thread with them... I know it's ugly, but it's a short term solution until the OFFICIAL WEBSITE is ready.

 

I know Ryan had me in a list, but this will be an official post for the record. I have my cabin booked for the event and will be staying at Fontana Village.

 

I'll be there. I'm staying in the Inn at Fontana.

 

Since I cannot commit to it at this time, and by the time I know for sure that I can attend everything in the area will be booked, I will place myself on 'standby' and see if there are going to be any last moment cancellations. If there is, I'll see y'all there, if not, take lotsa pictures.

 

I'll be there too! I have a Laurel Cabin I think and I'm dragging my mother there with me!!!
