Just thought I should post that the MINIGURU from Indy will be there. I'll bring my tools and some parts in case anybody needs something. Or wants to go faster.

 

I managed to get an Inn room! Woo! CHEAP! $52/night! Can't beat that!

 

Chances have become a great deal better that I will be there once again in '05.

Looks like I will have to pencil myself in somewhere now.

That's slightly more expensive than the twin in the party cabin. What happened? Did you decide not to share a cabin with Ryan's Mom?

So let me get this straight, the Saturday Midight run, is that on Saturday or Sunday at Midnight? Is this a nighttime event, or is it in the daylight, will we need to have driving lights? Will there be glowing sperm? Can I bring Ryan's Mom, What about Minzila, and her child, should they come along , or will it be past bedtime? Will there be Kool T shirts, when exactly is this and where will we all meet up, how many typically show up, what if the car in front is slower than you, will we up our bonnets at the dam with our lights on so that it looks like a scene from Encounters of the Weird Kind, Huh, huh, huh

BTW Ryan says there's only 20 weeks 5 days and 9 hours till we head towards the Dragon, so how come ther isn't a countdown thread started yet?
PS Ryan's Mom is already reserved, and I got the cancelled check to prove it!

I wanted to tell you guys that I and a whole bunch of other Nuts from over there in the OL at MINIUSA are all getting really excited about going to the Dragon Tail in May. :smile:

I think that they have all got Christmas Mania at the moment as they are not doing their usual frantic Dragon thread posting at the moment!!! - But we all are extremely keen. There are several of us staying in one of the cabins at Fontana, and it has been dubbed The NUT cabin!!!

May seams so far away, but when you say 20 weeks it seam short! I better start packing now! I can not wait to see old friends, and make new one! Maybe if I am lucky I can steel ryans mom away from minzilla for a night!

 

hi all! i'm new to your boards, like jolly. came over from the OL to be sure to stay informed! my sweetie and i also have a cabin reserved at fontana. we live in ft. lauderdale and are really looking forward to the trip!

Spouse and I will be at Fontana Inn. Tardis will be somewhere close to that.. No midnight run for us, though, unless we can just join up at the gravel pit?

 

If you're staying at the Fontana and don't want to make the run, you'll want to see us off at the General Store. The gravel pit is down at Tabcat Bridge which is at the opposite end of The Dragon from Fontana... So if you want to meet us there, you're gonna to have to make the run

If you're concerned about driving The Dragon at night, just remember no part of the driving the entire weekend is a race. Take your time and drive at the speed you feel most comfortable at...
