20e120 Code - Crankcase Vent Hose

Hi, my 2021 Countryman S ALL4 has been having some issues lately and I am struggling to find answers. Currently have a 20E120 CRANKCASE VENTILATION, VENT HOSE: NOT CONNECTED/FAULTY and a 118002 MIXTURE CONTROL: FUEL-AIR MIXTURE TOO RICH error codes, paired with a loss of power when coasting at around 10 miles per hour and trying to accelerate.

It appears I have a bad crankcase ventilation hose, but I cannot find any part numbers to replace it, or any instructions for doing so. I also do have a modified intake (open cone), which I have seen that on a B58 engine in BMWs can cause bad connections at the hose connections due to movement. If anyone else has run into this, would love some help please.

Thank you.

Same

We’re also fighting a 20E120 CEL code on our 2021 Countryman S. Info on the internet is pretty disappointing as it has lots of authoritative info - that conflicts. Not even agreeing on the system in question (crankcase vs evap).

Any resolution for you? Or input from others?

No resolution. Dealer and two independent shops could not identify the problem over 3 months and $3000 in diag fees. Ended up selling the car and going electric.

Replaced entire evap system, crankcase hose, air intake chain, ECU reprogramming with no changes.
