Where is the paint code located on the F60?

 

Update: I'm ultimately trying to track down the white roof paint code. I thought it would be easy to find on a VIN sticker... but nope.

The Mini dealer near me was able to get the body color from the VIN, but not the roof color. They said if I had the original window sticker it would be on there. The paint shop guy says, "they're blowing smoke up your butt."

From other forums, I've seen a lot of people pointing to Aspen White (899) as the color code for all Mini white roofs, but that's not fully convincing me yet.

So, no hard confirmation, and I still haven't gotten an answer on where to find the code(s) on the F60.

MINIs inside mirror cover is called aspen white

Unless you have an older MINI (Gen 1) and it was pepper white with matching pepper white top they are all aspen white.

 

@ECSTuning to the rescue again.

I still have no idea where to find the paint code for the body. The dealer can look it up with the last 7 digits of the VIN.

As far as I can tell, the only way to see the roof color is on the original window sticker, but as I don’t have mine, I can’t confirm.

 

Yep, so they pant code is not on the door or anything, its just a known thing in the MINI world. Most dealers will not know things like this. That's why the forum and myself are here.

Through our supplier for Bav Auto Touch up Paint I can get any paint color for MINI. Some that are NLA from MINI we can get here.
