Is it possible to code mirrors to close when doors lock without having to press the door handle button?

Is it possible to lower the volume on the directional indicator? Just a nit, but seems louder than other cars I've been in.

 

First question, yes, this is an option in Bimmercode when you hit lock on the key fob.

When you say door handle button, are you talking about the button on the interior or exterior? If you hold the exterior button for a couple seconds, the mirrors will fold. And then they'll unfold automatically when you unlock the car.

Second question should also be yes, using the built in menus. There's a setting in there somewhere for blinker stalk noise.

I'm talking about the exterior button. That's how I fold the mirrors in, but I'd rather not have to hold the button down for a long-press and it would be nice to have the mirrors fold in with just a short-press

I looked today on my drive home, and it's under System Settings, Tone, Volume Settings (I think. Maybe something similar), and after that I think the one you want is called Gong, though there are some other options in there.

Yes...Bimmercode is your answer. When you code it, the mirrors fold automatically with the key fob and after a shorter press of the door button

We coded our 2018 Countryman with Bimmercode and the mirrors close with the door handle or with the key fob. Before we had to hold down the lock buttons to close the mirrors. As for the noisy *** blinkers have Not found a way to turn down volume. If anyone does please let us know!
