Power Folding Mirrors

Do i need to use Bimmercode to get my mirrors to fold automatically when I lock with my remote or is there some function in the MINI settings I can do already?

2019 Mini Countryman

Thank you

Yeah, you need Bimmercode for that. Alternatively, you can hold down the button on the door handle if you have comfort access. It takes about 3 seconds on our 2019.

MINI Cooper key fob. You can press and hold ‘lock’ to fold the mirrors on and unlock to unfold them back.

Was wondering the same thing. Mine are coded to fold when I lock the car.

@sdupp would definitely want that automatically but not sure it’s worth the 80 bucks and possible warranty debates (to code)

Well worth the $80. You can make lots of changes. I don't think using Bemercode would affect your warranty.

Do you need a specific package to get the power folding mirrors? Looking to add it to my 2020 countryman, but it has no Nav, anything like that.

I agree with the above. Bimmercode is a great option. All in...it's about 75/80 bucks (with the adapter), but you can customize a few things on your car.

Setting the powermirrors. My car now automatically folds via the fob and folds via the door button after a long pause, but less long than when doing comfort closing.
