Hi all. I've never had Countryman before, just the hardtops. When I do internet searches at local dealers, I see some F60 S models with shiny black bumpers, even when the paint is not black. What is that? As far as I can tell, when I look at window stickers, I don't see a special bumper package. Why are some coming with shiny black bumpers?

My wife's came like that, the dealer said that her CM S had the All4 appearance package added which gave it the black bumpers front and rear. I've never really seen it on another CM out here so I was wondering if it's a rare thing or something else?

 

It is the Off-Road appearance package vs The regular appearance package.

 

Yep, its a package you have to choose when ordering. I don't care for it myself, especially how it changes the shape of the front bumper.

 

Yes, that is exactly what I am talking about. So I will look for All4 Appearance or Off Road appearance. Are those shiny covers removable? Sometimes I see one configured perfectly, only to see those black bumpers. Our local dealers have plenty of those in stock.

 

I don't believe they are removable. You could always paint them or wrap them.
As I stated above, the whole bumper is different.

 

I have seen people wrap them body color in Japan

 

Our '18 All4 S has the off-road appearance package. I like it because I rarely see another just like it, although there are several Moonwalk Grey CM's around our town.
