Hello all, I remember seeing something about liftgate issues on the CM, but haven't been able to find the threads. Anywho, my liftgate opened at 60mph on it's own, the keys were in the cupholder and my leg is nowhere near the button on the door. Anyone else had this issue?

HA! Sorry to laugh but I think you've got me beat! Ours has opened in all sorts of strange situations but never at that speed! Wow... that is entirely dangerous. We lost a very expensive item that fell out of the trunk when it opened once and I pulled out into the street...
You should contact Mini USA and file a report.

 

Put the car in gear and push the button, if the boot opens the switch should be replaced.
