Talking My 2020 JCW CM Clyde is all ordered up!!

Went all out last night and finally put in my custom order for my 2020 JCW Countryman in Iconic trim and in Island Blue with Black and full Blackout options (lights, door handles, etc)!!!

Sadly, production for him won't be until the 40th week so.. looks like i'll be obsessing on here again like when i had my 2013 Cooper S Coupe Bonnie built... so dang excited!!!!!

that new Enigma Black is very pretty and very tempting but.. Island blue!!

my future 2020 JCW Clyde!

Update on my Clyde: order was finally accepted by MINI so i got total price but no VIN yet. Hoping first week of Oct 2019!! got the itch so i've been buying up some accessories for him:

Got the BimmerCode app and OBDII reader
CravenSpeed Platypus Front License Plate
New dashcam to hardwire
Rear cargo net solution

hehe.. ah yes.. the joy of waiting for one's new MINI.

Which dashcam did you go with?
And what did you find for cargo net? I've been using a couple of these attached to the rear seatbacks. Works good for smaller items.

@ jimmyselix - give Mini a call and see what they can tell you about your build...The system that the SA (dealer) was using said I had a week 40 build, but I called and gave them the production number, and it turned out it was already in production and scheduled to comeplete 18 September. We placed our order on 10 August...

Hope this helps - YMMV

that is so awesome to hear!! i actually just talked to my SA too and he said that my Clyde should be started before week 40 too!! yay!! also just a side note.. Heated seats appear to be standard on the Iconic trim since i was freaking out a bit after not seeing it on my final build list from my SA but he called back and said it was standard for the trim levels i went (ie basically all of them.. hehe..) i think my actual order was put in around aug 28th or so and accepted last week into the system. i may have to give MINI a call now

as for the dashcam i went with. i am planning on seeing how the 70mai Dash Cam. Main things that lured me was the size, rather small. Has a battery to monitor parking after car is off without having to hardwire to an always on fuse. has gps, decent looking night mode and also liked how it looked too.
another link to it on amazon:

Do you have a link or pics to other f60 owners who have this?
I don't understand what it hooks to in our car.

i actually already have this camera at home and it has a mount plate that contains the GPS module that you mount on windshield and then camera will slide onto the mount. I was going to put it in my R58 Bonnie but decided not too after deciding to order a 2020 JCW CM.

i plan to also hardwire power to the F50 or F57 fuse too so it looks nice and clean

Thanks, but yeah.... the problem is in my f60 I couldn't find 4 attachment points, to hang it vertically like that or even flat on the floor like some other cars.
That's why I ended up with the velcro ones for now.

Unfortunately, no...Mini USA said the Owners lounge feature has been disabled. I call 866-ASK-MINI with my production number or partial VIN and they tell me what is going on.
