Lane keep assist?

Has anyone else noticed a light on the dash (in the area with the tachometer) that appears to be for lane keep assist? I have never seen it light up, but if you look closely you can see two parallel lines and arrows pointing to each line.

I am assuming this is an option for European delivered cars, but it makes me wonder if there is a way to activate this feature on the US spec ones if you have all of the sensors and cameras like we do.

That actually kind of surprising that it doesn’t have it already these days. Heck my mother in law’s corrola has it. It may be worth inquiring at the dealership about it, to see if it’s an option that could possibly be coded for. It’s kind of dumb to have the light/icon for it, but not offer it.
That would be handy to have, I’m sure. Good luck

I'm sure it's an option in some markets. Probably need additional hardware and potentially software to enable in non optioned vehicles.

Yeah mine has the symbol as well (2019 JCW). Definitely don't have the feature though.

That would be nice... I have the Iconic trim as well, kind surprised that it doesn't have lane assist and blind spot warning for fully loaded 2019 model...

Yeah I was surprised that blind spot warning wasn't even an option. Pretty sure all cars have that these days ... I mean I've got a camera that reads speed limit signs. Couldn't they put in a couple blind spot sensors and indicators? Should really be included as standard on the base model.

Those lines are for adaptive cruise control. I have them active. Unfortunately no lane assist. Maybe there is a way to code it though, because i have a camera already and park assist, so it can steer, brake and sees the road...
