Winter set up....

Ok I'm sure I'm missing this but I've looked and can't seem to find the answer. Granted I got in at 3:30am and I'm still a bit groggy.

Looking for a good winter wheel/tire setup. What are the wheel specs for a 2017 CM All4S? I found the bolt pattern but can't seem to find the correct offset. Tirerack shows the old CM so I'm not sure I believe what they're telling me.

Anyone have any other options besides Tirerack?

Thanks y'all.

Dave

I also use discount tires. Comparable on price and will match if find lower. And if you use there credit card get 6 months to pay off and a $50 rebate. And another 50 on winter tire currently

Hey, I'm also looking for your insights to winter wheels/tires... Planning on pulling the trigger on a JCW F60 with 19'' and summer tires. That won't work here in Snowy Montreal...

Thinking 18 with 225/50/18 would work... wheel specs? TPMS? (need bigger to clear Brembos)

What have all you done?

thanks
E

I was going to do the same thing too but ended up keeping the stock 18" rims, swapped the rubbers to Blizzak WS80s, sold all seasons. I will pickup 19/20" aftermarket rims and tire in the spring. This ends up cheaper than upgrading with mini and buying a separate set of 18" rims for winter, also more options for the summer rims too.

I am in the market too.

I have an '18 with 225/50/18. The issue is not the tires, but the wheels.

The overall rolling diameter needs to be 26" and the offset is very specific due to the brembo brakes.

I do not want to swap tires 2X/ year on the stock wheels - but will if II have to.

If anyone has found a tire/wheel combo, please post up!

OEM JCW winter setup won't work?

The entire set is €1936 at Leebmann, take off the 19% German VAT and they're €1627 for a complete set of Winter tires/wheels/sensors. Price out a full 18" winter set on Tirerack and you aren't going to be any cheaper and it still won't be OEM.

Ultimately I ordered factory winter 18” package... negotiations got it down to $1400 Cad (including tax...$3700 list)above what they were offering on best deal for 2019 JCW midnight black edition ... worth negotiating the package into a new car if you can!!

Back in October, I got 215/60 R17 snowtire and wheels mounted and installed for just under $1000 CDN all taxes and levies included.
