FS: Pristine Winter Wheel/Tire Set (R90s, Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 DSSTs)
FS: Pristine Winter Wheel/Tire Set (R90s, Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 DSSTs)
Just sold my MCS so now parting with a very nice wheel/tire set. My car only had 21,500 miles on it, and I had approximately 5,000 winter miles on this set of wheels & tires.
The tires are mounted & balanced and the tires are run flats, so suitable for the MCS which does not include a spare.
These are in EXCELLENT condition, no curb rash, etc.
* QTY 4, MINI OEM R90 One-Piece Aluminum Wheels (MSRP $190/ea)
Size 6.5 x 16 inch ET 48
* QTY 4, R90 MINI Logo Center Caps (MSRP $2.75/ea)
* QTY 4, Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 DSST (RUN FLAT) = (MSRP $190/ea)
Size 195/55 R16 87H
These are located in the Philadelphia area, and I would prefer a local buyer to pick them up since I do not have boxes to ship them and I'd expect them to be rather expensive to ship.
Retail price of this package is $1,622 with tax - not including mounting & balancing costs.
Asking $1,200 or best offer. Payment is cash only.
Please PM me if interested. (Heading on a business trip Monday & Tuesday so may take me a couple of days to reply.)

Just a quick plug for the Winter Sport M3s. This is one of the best winter tire for those who want more winter bite than an all-season, but don't want a dedicated snow/ice-only tire.
Some snow/ice tires can be a bit squirrely on dry pavement at speed and the rate of treadwear can be suprising. The WS M3s are extremely quiet, smooth and stable in the dry and wet, and provide excellent grip in the snow. In my experience, their weakest performance is on sheer ice. They work fine in icy conditions on the road, but I would not take them ice racing!
I live in an area that gets a lot of snow in the winter, and I have had excellent performance and treadwear with the WS M3s. Up here in New England, the preferred snow tire is the Hakkapelitta. I think that these are just a little below the performance of the Hakka's in the deep snow, but the WS M3's performance in the dry/wet balances it out for my winter driving needs.
Someone hop on these babies FAST!
