Easy Entry Electric Seats Moving back while exiting and forward when i enter car

Haven't found anyone else trying it on the Mini. I dit ry to code it.

There are 3 settings and all three are as I recall it in the SM2(D6) module, there is also a SM2(E6)(probably passenger side On mine 7) module but in that module I could not set the value for EINAUSSTIEGSHIELFE to "Modus_FA_SLV".

3000 SM_GLOBAL -> EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE = "Modus_FA_SLV"

But on mine, i can't find these 2:
3012 EAH -> EAH_VERFAHRWEG_SLV_PHYS = Werte=00, 28
3012 EAH -> EAH_SCHUTZFREIRAUM_HINTEN_SLV_PHYS = Werte=00, 3C

3012, seems not mapped. Anyone else who has it mappen on their countryman?

It didn't seem to work at all, but like others strangely when i tried the car with my second key, it did work. Very strange. When i open my door after ignition off, seat moves back. When i enter and close door, it moves to memory position.

I also activated gentlemans function which doesn't work for now. And also put these codes to activ:
EASY ENTRY: Activ

Now i will try easy entry TTB also.

Sweet!

I definitely want to do this when the 2019 JCW F60 I ordered comes in..

I'll research the coding process - thanks for the info!

It really is working great. Really really happy with it. It also gives the car a more luxurious feeling. And getting in and out more calm, because i wait for it to slide and enjoy it

Hmmm. I tried it just now, but failed!

What have I not set correctly? Is it my wert settings? Where did you get your values from? I'm using BimmerCode (Expert Mode):

I started over, and tried it again with just the three parameters that need to be changed, and so far they still don't work, but too soon to know for sure. I'll keep you posted. Thanks.

Try this also. Put your correct seat position to memory 2.
And on memory one a couple of cm's back.
I read that somewhere too. I did it but i don't know if that did the trick in the end. It worked after a little while and some different tries.
good luck.

I read that somewhere too. That's just someone's lame workaround. It's not the same!

Also, switching to fob #2 is something I won't do. I did a circuit board-ectomy on fob #1, and it now lives happily in an X1/X2/X3... shell, and I love it so much more now.

with switch to key to 1, i meant for 5 minutes. Just to try it. For me it worked with key 2 immediately. After that i tried key 1 15 minutes later or so and it worked also. And since it is working flawlessly.with key 1.

There is a sort of delay in activation of this option. I read it in almost every activation.

Just trying to let you know all the steps i tried to help you out.

Okay. Since it's not working for me, I'll try all the things you suggest. No reason why it shouldn't work for me, if you got it working. I'm not a neophyte at coding, and I know I did that correctly.

I got some action in the seats, mostly the opposite to what I wanted (seats moving forward upon door opening), but nothing that lasted. I feel as though I'm missing a key setting, somewhere/somehow. Frustrated!

Darex, did you ever get this to work? As another data point, I tried the same settings as you did and I got this same results...nothing happens.

Did you gus try second key to test? Mine worked 1st time on second key. Later also on main key.
Also did you try to set 2 different positions on 1 and 2?

I did try the second key thing, and playing with the memory settings. It's how I got SOME relevant activity, but it never worked for the primary key. Until I learn of a coding setting I overlooked or set improperly, I've kind of given up.

It's a bit frustrating, as I've never had a coding fail before, except for things I tried that weren't supported functions anyway.

Easy entry is the main reason I got Bimmercode... I just changed 3000 SM_GLOBAL -> EINAUSSTIEGSHILFE = "Modus_FA_SLV" and it worked perfectly!

Which module are you looking at in Expert Mode to do this change? There’s an actual regular menu (i.e., non-Expert Mode) item in the driver’s seat module for Easy Entry, but activating it didn’t actually do anything in my 2023 F60. So I want to explore what you did and see if that makes it take.

*Off Topic*

Anyone tried to install electric seats exchanging manual seats? Is there a good write-up somewhere that includes coding? TIA
