When does registration begin? Can't seem to find it yet based on rumors that it was to begin on 29 April.

Folks, just a few posts back from this one Jon noted that there has been a slight delay and registration won't open until at least a week from today. Best to keep an eye here through the week, just don't expect anything until next week.

I'd either balme the Dragon (they're really excited to be going), or the surprises they're said to be lining up.

From our last club meeting they hinted at a few things that they weren't allowed to talk about yet. Once they get all the ducks in a row and feel confident that they can tell you about all the goodies they want to bring in, he'll open up the registration I'm sure.

Hang in there, it'll happen soon!

I agree with Shellbell. I'm more excited than last year. Looking forward to seeing the friends that saved me from rolling into the pound on Mt. Evans and all the other friends we met last year.

Keep in mind that last year

was the first. Nobody, not even us, had an idea. Registration then started real slow - I think pp waited to see if others would go. Then at the end, wow - lots of pp registered. That is how we got to 150 so fast.

Rick and I expect 250 easy this year, maybe pushing 300. That is fine, we have plenty of room and rooms and the more, the merrier. Plus, we will hold the line on costs and registration will be the same this year as last, and dinners will actually be a bit less....I think.

Please don't let the car fall off the mountain...

That was what I kept repeating as you guys talked her through backing up and making the turn!!!! The dogs didn't seem to mind, though. Corgis going this way, corgis going that way.
Though we had been planning on coming, Doug and I have a major conflict that weekend with a wedding. Since we pretty well threatened the bride to invite us, we better go! Maybe we can get her to change the date??? Her mom would love us for that!
We haven't broken the news to Monty yet. Wouldn't want a depressed Mini in the garage. Blue - did you end up using the poster??
If we can't get there this year, MITM3 has a good ring to it!

Hey Jonathan!
Sounds like things are really shaping up for Copper, can't wait!

So the AMVIV follow up.... Ended up bailing on Vegas, but did Route 66 instead (the Santa Fe to Barstow section), then down to San Diego to meet the girls for AJ's spring break.
Going to do the other half of the Route (Chicago to Santa Fe) leaving this Friday, doing it with Mike.
Sounds like we will need to set aside some time for "story exchange" at Copper!!
Hope the Dragon was a kick!

Talk soon.

Peace,
Kevin

The poster is in my living room. My g/f wants to make a MINI theme room around it. I like that idea.

I really look forward to seeing all of you again this year and meeting more new people. I love Mini owners. One of my motoring expeditions this year will include a drive to Salida to our 'other' rally (Gold Wing motorcycle district rally).
