Hello WRX!

Try the 2 BR options...I had one last year, it was the size of a large apartment with 2 1/2 BRs, 2 baths, kitchen, den, etc. Could have had 8 pp there, but it was just me and Waylon. Different bedrooms, of course.

Will go smaller this year.

Last year we had the gold hotel room. 1 queen bed w/ pull out couch, this worked well for our family of 4. However the price at ~$200/ night was too much to do again. The group rates are lower this year but the budget housing will not sleep 4. I am still looking at the hotel room housing which is just over $100/ night.

The room is just for sleeping occasionally. The rest of the time we will be motoring.

The # on your invoice from NAM will be something like 5593 for example (that was mine. I got the number 21 because I looked to see how many were registered after I placed my order on the home page.
The invoice # is not a great gage as it is for all NAM transactions not just MitM registrations.

As of this moment there are 55 people and 36 MINIs registered.

Jim (Zyamfier) is brilliant.

Therefore, he lives in Nebraska and NOBODY KNOWS IT.

Anyway, to find All the info on the event (including how many have registered day by day) just go to the NAM Home Page. At the top, flashing and ever-changing, is the big MITM graphic. Click there and the Whole World opens up, including a note about how many pp are registered and how many cars. (This was not there early Monday AM....btw)

The event guide, agenda, all the links, discussion - whatever you need is beneath this graphic.

Enjoy yourselves. Be sure to register for dinners now, there are no walkups allowed and no dinner tickets without event registrations.

Thanks, Jim. The Kernel of C.O.R.N.

I will look for kettle corn

If that is what you want. Keep in mind that CMR has it's own food vendors whom we choose to promote. But that does not mean we cannot have kettle corn. Let me see what I can do.

I wasn't planning on it originally because I got the impression that the VacuCam market had dried up. I didn't even sell one at this years MOTD although in previous years I always sold out. I may bring a few, and since I'll be driving my MINI, I will outfit my own MINI for sure.

Okay, I wanted to take a peek at the assorted lodging options and rates, and I looked on the Copper website but I am sort of confused - it's only showing the platinum stuff right now (mostly) - can that be right? Or am I doing something wrong?

For the economy, go to NAM (store) (lodging) this should take you to the Copper lodging (Economy) selections. Other than the economy I think you have to call or go online.
I called and they gave me a their Hotel room price of $105.14 or something then the Silver at just $5.00 or $10.00 more which is closer to Burning Stone plaza.
The economy rates you can see on NAM in the store as above.

Hope this helps

So jealous....

We can't make it back this year. Have a wedding that we have to attend. (No, we can't get out of it. We did try to get the bride to change the weekend. She just laughed!) We are totally depressed about this. Haven't broken the news to Monty quite yet. No sense in depressing the car. Maybe we can take him to Minis under the arches later???

Jonathon, thanks for having the mailing option on the shirts. Was going to ask you about this, but you beat me to it.

Now I can start planning for MITM3!!!!!

Hello Wagner!

You cannot look at the www.CopperColoado.com site and see OUR rates and choices. You can only get that by calling our registration number OR by sending me your email and I can send you a copy of our chart. I am happy to do that.

Please PM me your regular email and I can send you this info so you can view it in hard copy.

Thanks,

Jonathan

Doug, that is a shame

Perhaps you can get sick that weekend (Ebola, Avian Flu, AIDS, etc) and have to have an emergency visit to the hospital for about 6 days. Or, send someone else in your car.

At the very least, sneak out of the reception on Saturday night and watch all the MINIs in Burning Stones Plaza on the Copper Cam. You know, LIVE at www.CopperColorado.com

That way, you can be with us.....visualy and spiritually!

Great to see you will be there Luke. The dragon wagon will be in the parking with a good supply of beer and coolers. I will not be sleeping in it like last year. So it will be put to a different use.

You bet.

Johnna and the Motoring Chix will be in full swing at MITM. There is a thread started - feel free to have public discussion there.

Just click on MINIs in the Mountains at the top left of the home page, then choose Discussion, then scroll down to the MotoringChix discussion thread.

Have at it!!

JPS

Hops Flu is always a winner around here on Monday mornings, so I know it would work well for you on the other weeks days.
